He was very professional - he arrived on time every day and was very conscientious about calling me and keeping me informed of his progress. I felt his charges were very reasonable, particularly given the high caliber of his work. I was especially grateful that he responded so quickly to my inquiry and that he was able to do the work in such a timely manner. Work Description: Painting a removing wallpaper and repairing water damage in 2 bathrooms
Comments: Chris from Gilberts painting came out and gave us an estimate for the work, accepted a deposit of $400, and said he would start the job in two days . The next day we receive a call from Chris stating that there is not enough money in the job and that he would not be doing the job . A total waste of time and very unprofessional ! He obviously did not know what he was doing if he couldn’t determine that there wasn’t enough money in the job while he was at our home! He also tore some of the wallpaper off of the wall to see what was underneath . Now my bathroom looks even worse and who knows how long it will take before I can get another contractor out here! I would not recommend this contractor to anyone and I hope you will post this information on your website so other unsuspecting people will not have the same experience!
