We have a wholesale Pergola division that strictly does work for landscape and pool companies in the valley. We are also proud to have a Turf Warehouse which we carry the 2most popular brands Southwestern Blend (which is combination of all 4 major grasses grown in the southwest) and a new striped Turf called freshly mowed. This is because people are getting tired of that matted look turf tends to have and this turf allows it to look more natural like going to a ball game in the summer.
2d and 3d designs we have a team of designers that are well versed in the landscape construction environment. Every good build starts with a great design. Every thing built to last starts with a great design.
Finally we are primarily a labor company so we allow the homeowners to purchase product and we do the installation. This can help any project stay close to budget

Work Description: Owner will not take responsibility for bad workmanship
Comments: In 2018, we had Fertibloom put down turf and some bricking. The bricking install was fine. However, the turf was not installed correctly. We questioned the installation regarding the seams (where the rolls of turf meets) and the edging gaps (around the fireplace bricking) and was told that they would fix themselves over time.The seams and the gaps did not correct or improve, but have gotten much worse over time. The seams are highly visible (3 seams in the yard) and are very unpleasant to step on. Also, when playing lawn games, it affects the play.
Fertibloom said we have a 10 year warranty, so we called them to see about repair. After weeks of getting the runaround, the owner did send 2 workers out. The lead guy told us he cannot stretch seams because it would tear the turf, but he could take up the turf and move it closer. He did this and we ended up with a crooked piece of turf that added even more gap to the edge as well as it not fixing the seam. The lead guy took pictures of the new and old issues and would talk with the owner on how to proceed to make things right.
After not hearing from anyone for a week, I reached out. The owner said that there is no more problems because the lead guy said we ok’d it all. Once I explained that was not correct, I sent him a dozen pictures showing all the problems. Another week later he said they could cover the gaps with green sand. I consulted another landscaper and he said that would do nothing to repair/fix our problems - and that the issue is with the initial install being done incorrectly (they did not place the edges together when they installed).
When I contacted the owner that green sand wouldn’t fix this - he replied with a lengthy and upset email. Within this he said a) the warranty does not cover seams b) the lead said we ok’d the job and said everything was done (which we did not) c)offered only the green sand or moving our lawn boarder (which we put in and also would not fix the seems). There was a lot said in that email -also complaining that he lost money on our job and did it for free (we paid nearly $8000 for the turf, how would I know he lost money? And how is that my fault?)
I responded those were not acceptable and I’d go to the BBB (case now pending)
UPDATE 6/26/22
the owner responded to the BBB with a bald face lie. Said that we damaged the turf and expected them to fix it. Never before had he tried to blame it on us until responding with 1 sentence to the BBB. Horrible!

Comments: We met several landscaping contractors from Maricopa County home and Garden show in Glendale this summer. We choose Ferti-Bloom not because of their very competitive pricing but we felt that our project is in good hands with this company and with Joe Duffel .He proved us right. Going above and beyond from start to finish to make sure project is done right and we are happy with the outcome. Such trustworthiness is hard to come by now days.
