Comments: I had Mike come out for an estimate To install can lights and remove old track lighting; which he did show up to do. I spoke with my husband and we finally decided that we were going to hire Mike to do the job. He had us sign the estimate slip and send it over; which I did. He was to start November 4, 5, and 6th which worked fine.So I scheduled and put down a $500 deposit to have another worker come out and begin the next work we were having done on our house since we’re in the process of updating the house we just bought.
Mike emailed a few days before he was to start and said he had a family emergency and needed to go out of town and would need to reschedule for the 11, 12, and 13th. So i agreed to the new start date and rescheduled my other contractor to start that Saturday after Mike was to finish.
That weekend I tried to reach Mike several times to confirm what time he was going to start on Tuesday. I emailed him, I called him and left voicemails, and I texted him on multiple occasions and DID NOT receive any response. He had read my text messages because It sends the read receipts so I know he saw them but didn’t care enough to respond...I even let him know I was going to lose my deposit if the job wasn’t finished by the weekend and no reply. Although at one point he did ask “who is this” in which I replied with my name and the fact that he was supposed to start work on the job he already re-scheduled on me. But never heard back, no apologies, nothing.
The really unfortunate part for me is that I lost my $500 deposit with the other contractor bc I had already rescheduled once on him. So no I absolutely would NOT recommend Mike or his company especially if they don’t even have the common courtesy to get back to people who are thinking they’re getting work done.
This is not at all how you run a small business or treat customers.

Work Description: Added dedicated 20amp line for a treadmill and installed an exhaust fan in bathroom to switch.
Comments: Work was excellent. The electrician went above and beyond with moving furniture and cleaning up all debris. Phone estimate was the lowest of all bids and the estimate was kept to the penny upon arrival. Also quoted for additional work.-
