Work Description: Trying to edit prior review

Comments: I am happy to report that Elite Pro Builders reached out to me to correct the situation and we are waiting for dry weather for them to do the work. Apparently there was a miscommunication fueled by a change of corporate and personal phone numbers (?). Once the work is fully done, I will come back and try to update again, though I wish Networx would let us revise/update directly.

Work Description: Entrance deck repair

Comments: After charging me $4500 to repair an entrance deck, and having to have his crew come out to repair shockingly unprofessional work, Dennis and Elite Pro Builders have vanished. Their phone number no longer works and they are not responding to emails. The work is incomplete. They also refused to do business with credit cards and only wanted cash transfers, which is a major red flag. DO NOT HIRE.

I am revising my comments once again.
I am disappointed with workmanship, professionalism,
Contract was to bfinished on 12/5/21.
Stairs cut too shourt for the replacement,
If I ever hire another contracter, I will have all their excuses, like don't work in rain, understand,
have to let him know if it is rainning.
Biggest mastike paid him in full.
I have lots of before and work so far. Mess all over yard.
Discussed.

are no longer answering their phones or emails.
I have paid total cost of project, it is still incomplete.
I don't know what to do inorder to get my money back.

Work Description: Refinish Double Front Entry Doors

Comments: We were on a short timeline to have the doors refinished. This was explained to Dennis. He failed to answer texts and phone calls. He is unreliable. He stated he could start work on Thursday. He called and said he would be delayed for one day and start early on Friday. Friday was a no show, no call or text on why. Saturday, no word from Dennis. He finally called on Sunday around noon. His excuse was he fell off a ladder, broke/lost his cell phone. Finally showed up at 11 am on Monday with two younger kids as helpers. Worked for 2 1/2 hours and left. He said he would be back. He never showed up. I called and texted and no reply. On Tuesday with not response to multiple calls and texts, I notified Dennis he was fired. It's been five (5) days and no response from Dennis. Unfortunately, I paid half the cost up front. I don't expect to see any of the $ back.

Work Description: deck construction and rebuild

Comments: Price increased from $4500 to $8000 due to all extras he said were needed. He did this for cash (our mistake) and although his flooring was pretty (picture framed) he did not attach portions of the balusters to the railing, he built stair jacks not to code which are totally unsafe. He forgot to place a piece of wood on the landing. He spilled his coffee on the landing, did not clean it up and now has a permanent stain. He did not communicate and did not answer texts or phone calls. He said it would take him 2 days to complete the job. More like 2 weeks of agony as he left his tools and lumber all over our patio and lawn. He did not clean up at all. His tools were left out in the open, with opened cases, all covered in the sawdust from cutting lumber. He used our teak patio table as his own, covering it with tools, etc. He left his shop vac and was to return to get this as well as trash. As usual, he never came. He would not answer the many texts I sent and would not answer my phone calls. He parked all day in our driveway, parking in front of my garage door, blocking my exit. His van dropped oil all over the driveway which we are still trying to clean up. He only spent maybe one full day, most of the time if he showed up at all, he showed up between 10 and 12 and worked until 4 or 5 maybe even later. This guy is a definite DO NOT HIRE!

Comments: Grate company, Contractor Dennis Ruiz easy to work with, grate ethics, deliver what he promise, keep me posted on project progress and difficulties, reasonable price, work finish on time, I definitely hired them again, thanks Guys.
