Work Description: Gas Furnace - InstallComments: If price is one's only concern I'd say go with them, but get it in writing. If honesty, integrity, neatness, preparedness, completeness are issues, look elsewhere. I told them I My floor was damaged, the mess was not cleaned up, water heater and furnace boxes were left - one "hidden beside my house. (They did take the appliances as they can probably fix them inexpensively and sell them). I am still waiting for a promised receipt by email. I had two job locations and they were billed on the same "slip" and did not include information necessary for any available rebates
While writing my previous review I was interrupted by a phone call from Billy's wife after she read emails between me and Billy. She told me Billy would "make things better" so I said I would hold off on my negative review. But my rogue computer (NOT ME) sent it - unedited & unfinished! Billy then reneged on his offer to send a cashier's check for the overage and resorted to vicious name-calling. So I told him I would now write a COMPLETE and honest review. All Google reviews and all but one on this site - unsolicited! - are negative. Billy is low-priced, but money isn't everything. He lied, deceived, left a mess, hid trash, damaged a floor without telling me, & added charges after agreed-upon "lump-sum" quotes. He told me on the phone that I NEEDED an 80,000 BTU furnace, and told me via texts & photos that I HAD a 70,000 BTU hi-efficiency furnace. We agreed on a total price to replace it "tomorrow". It would take 2 hrs. When he left I found he brought & installed a 60,000 BTU single stage furnace. How much more will that cost me to heat my home?! He arrived over 4 hrs. late (with a questionable excuse). We then agreed on a "lump sum" to also replace my water heater. When? "Now" (after he gets one at Home Depot). How long to install? "1 hr." He was due at 9-9:30 AM & left at 8:45 PM taking up my entire day. He added $209 to my bill & CASHED (did not deposit) my check early the next morning (Saturday), seemingly afraid I would stop payment when I discovered his poor performance. (I sure hope I don't need any warranty work!!) He did NOT ask me to write a review. Now I must eat his overcharge, clean up his mess, repair the floor, & maybe settle for downgraded equipment, unless, or until, I choose to see him in court. I most highly DO NOT recommend Billy Winters at Elite Home Services.
Work Description: Installed a new humidifier on furnaceComments: Came a day and 6 hours late. Humidifier leaked and didn't come back because they were too busy. Installed the humidifier right over the relay panel for the furnace and of course when it leaked it went into the relay panel, not a safe or professional installation. Tried to get him back but he was out of state for a few months. Ended up calling a real professional to move the relay box and cleanup the mess from the initial installation.
Work Description: Ducts/Vents - Install/ReplaceComments: Great customer service. Got the job done super quick and efficiently. Very flexible with scheduling as well. I would 100% recommend.
