Never have I worked with a better contractor or electrician. After 32 yrs in commercial construction that says a lot! Comments: William is a complete joke. The install took twice as long as promised. He almost always showed up hours later than was planned upon. The thing that really chaps my ass is I referred my neighbor and was promised a bird dog after he completed that install. I have called him 10 times about this and he always apologizes and promises to send it and never does. Very untrustworthy individual.

Work Description: Oil leak due to faulty service
Comments: We had our Generac generator serviced in September '16. Didn't notice that the cap to the oil had not been put on or had vibrated off until recently, when we noticed the oil stains at the base of the generator. Called William Clary to schedule an appt. Waited almost two weeks for service. When called to confirm, he informed us he probably wasn't coming out due to other calls for service that took priority. He refused to take responsibility for the poor service that was done to the unit and/or clean up the mess of oil that has spilled out over the past few months. He told us to put a quart of oil in it and don't worry about it. He was rude and sarcastic asking if we preferred he leave customers without power to come out to put a quart of oil in the generator. We've been without a generator for two weeks, just like other customers. Although we have power, it still doesn't give him permission to be rude and refuse service. We paid $250 back in September for service that was not completed properly. All we did was ask that he come out, refill the oil and clean up his mess.We're really disappointed in his attitude. We went with his company due to the good reviews for service. Apparently, he doesn't like to take the time to drive the 45 minutes out here to service the product he installed. He sure didn't mind the almost $6,000 we spent when we installed it. If it was going to be an issue when we need service, he should've never offered to install it.

Comments: William was absolutely amazing. We are new to town, and he is the best contractor we have used, hands down. William was polite and thoroughly knowledgable. He worked quickly, and his prices were the most reasonable of any contractor we've used. William even gave me money BACK after he'd quoted me a price and I'd paid him up front on one installation. He said the job was less complicated than he thought. Who does such a thing? Only a truly, truly great and honest guy, which is what William is. Work Description: Another electrician gave could not find the problem and wanted to charge $120 an hour and put holes in the walls to find the issue. The electrician from E & R came , found the issue right away and fixed it within 40 minutes and was done. I highly recommend these guys.

Comments: William called me within 5 minutes of my online request. He is a very nice and knowledgeable electrican. He quoted the job within days as he said he would and showed up at the time we had agreed upon. He pays great attention to detail and did an excellent job of installing the fixtures. William also made sure to clean up the bathroom and leave it in the condition it was when he arrived. Since we were adding additional panel we wanted it prepared for us to future add a generator . Bill is a generac dealer, his price for a whole house generator was so reasonable we were able to do it all. He will also do maintenance service on it which most sellers cannot do.
Comments: He called us immediately. Came the next day. Estimates reasonable. Came as scheduled and called prior. Quality work and improved the electric in our home. Clean, timely and showed up. Will call with all future electric, wish all contractors were as good.Kansas City MO

Work Description: Mr. Clary represents his company very professionally. He obviously has the experience and maintains his training to install whole-house, standby generators. His prices were better than any other contractor we interviewed. He was very concerned about every detail of the installation, and followed through on every request we made. He answered every question both before and during the project. Technically, he was never stumped.
Comments: He was very patient with our requirements to have our lawyer approve the wording of every document before it was signed. His proposals were very thorough and well written. (Other contractors we interviewed were not willing to do this much detailed homework.) He assumed total responsibility for all aspects of the work. That is, he arranged for permits, scheduled inspections, interfaced with MGE (our gas supplier) arranging to have an upgrade to our meter at no cost to us, electrical wiring, gas plumbing, and protection of and cleanup of the work site. He took all the time we needed to explain how the system works under various conditions. During construction, there were the usual unexpected problems that seem to always popup on any home improvement project, but he always assumed responsibility for finding and implementing a solution, without trying to pass blame to anyone else. In the end, he left us with a system of backup power that we are confident will be there when we need it the most. We have already recommended him to our neighbors.Blue Springs MO

Comments: The technician was prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. We were so impressed that we scheduled him to come out to upgrade our electrical system in the fall in order to bring out 57 year old house up to code.
