Work Description: Kitchen Remodeling
Comments: Our family paid over $25,000 for a kitchen remodeling project to Mr. Reuven Pitschadza and Dewson group LLC between January 7th 2021 and February 19th 2021. There were massive delays in all aspects of the project. Mr. Reuven Pitschadza and Dewson group did not pay the vendors for the manufacture of our cabinets, the countertops, or workers to perform the work among other which caused the delays. We were lied to continuously. Our kitchen window was delayed not once but twice due to incorrect measurements and then because they ordered the wrong window (not a impact window). We were left living with plastic sheeting as our kitchen window for weeks. We ordered plywood kitchen cabinets in January 2021 that were never made because they paid and the check they furnished bounced. The cabinet company never started to manufacture them until Mr. Reuven Pitschadza and Dewson group furnished a cashiers check in May 2021. We were told they were being built or were waiting on parts when we asked. In reality Reuven Pitschadza of Dewson group had never paid for them so no work was performed. It wasn't until my wife and I wanted answers for the long delays, started asking questions, and putting pressure that the truth came to light. In the end we ended up with the incorrect (melamine) cabinets which we never agreed to. Back in February we were told by Mr. Reuven Pitschadza that they needed an additional $5675 to install supports in the crawlspace under our home to "level our kitchen floor". I have since looked in the crawlspace and see no such proper supports installed and we were told the work we paid for was completed. It had taken over three and a half months to perform the remodeling and still was never actually completed. Our kitchen is only approximately 8 feet deep by 13 feet wide at it largest area. We have had to complete it ourselves because we could no longer deal with Mr. Reuven Pitschadza and Dewson group's incompetency. We had to make multiple emails and phone calls during the course of the project. We even generated our own finalized deadline contract and gave it to Reuven to review and he never gave it back. We also sent a demand letter in April to which there was no reply. Reuven Pitschadza did a large amount of this work himself and performed it poorly. All because he didn't have our money we paid him or he didn't want to pay a skilled person to perform this work. The quality of Dewson group LLC and or Reuven Pitschadza's work, their punctuality and their craftsmanship are all extremely poor. One example: One of the lower cabinets shelves was left out and we received the shelf after the cabinet had been built and installed. There was no way to install the shelf without disassembling the cabinet. We then found it was incorrectly measured and would not fit. This and many aspects of the project had to be repaired, corrected or redone by us, the home owners. Neither Dewson group LLC nor Mr. Reuven Pitschadza should be trusted. Do yourself a favor and look into Mr. Rueven Pitschadza's own past dealings before you hire Dewson group LLC, I wish I would have. I would most definitely not recommend Dewson group LLC. I would give a no star review if that were available. BUYERS BEWARE. Thank you for your time.-
