Work Description: Kitchen backsplash
Comments: Small kitchen backsplash project. Multi color chevron pattern with 1 color per line. Meaning, blue connects to blue, white connects to white. They randomly connected a blue to a white at the chevron points. Then came back to fix it and cut the replacement tile too small so there is a weird grout patch instead of a straight line. After that i noticed that the small cuts at the bottom cabinet edge which should be all blue, were blue then white, white, white then blue. Absolutely no attention to detail.In addition, there was 6 ft between the area that they were grouting and the other side of the kitchen. there was grout water splattered ALL OVER the kitchen island, again 6 ft from the project area. Same with the new wood floor, with the addition of hardened grout blobs requiring scraping. They didn't cover the floor. And they didn't cover the quartz countertop at the work area so there were hard adhesive blobs and hard grout blobs that I had to scrape off the new quartz.
While they offered to come back a 3rd time to fix the pattern mistakes, I am opting to hire someone else and pay extra to have it fixed correctly.
One final issue was that there wasn't anyone on-site that spoke ANY English. Which is no issue at all as far as their working on the project, however, it was impossible to communicate, ask questions, etc.
