Comments: They arrived without a water heater and had to go back to retrieve one. They said that was normal as they don’t drive around with water heaters in their truck. Someone should have informed us this would be the case. Also their price on their hold message was $949 and we were informed when they got there since they would need a new hose or two the price went up to $1,173. We found that an excessive amount for a couple of hoses. The water heater is making a loud clicking noise after the hot water is used about every 30 seconds. We are calling Daunhauer back to have a more seasoned tech come look at it to make sure that clicking noise is correct and what we will have to live with. The technicians that put it in were very nice though.Lexington KY

Work Description: Repair leak in main water line located about 3' from fdn wall. When uncovered, learned that connection from copper to Schedule 40 was leaking...had to be replaced. Also, a portion of the copper was replaced as well.
Comments: The two guys that came out were very professional and did a great job. My only issue was that I was not prepared for the cost...I got no other pricing and had not researched the pricing for such a repair. Later on I did and found that they were competitive. They had a fixed rate price and could have advised me accordingly before they came out. Neverthe less, the problem was solved quickly and professionally.-
