Comments: MR Rex’s crew did a great job. Everything was done on time and the driveway looks good. Everything that I pointed out was fixed to my specifications.
All in all Mr Rex was great to do business with. Hopefully I won’t have any more concrete work to do, but if I did I would hire Mr Rex again.

Comments: End product doesn't work as company said it would.
This is unfortunate that the client feels this way. The client asked for a french drain from the rear of his home to the front sidewalk. The new slab that we also installed for him no longer holds water as the drain system works effectively to remove water from it's surface into the drain system and out to the sidewalk as promised. The client contends that the pop up drain doesn't POP-UP. We explained to him that the installed corrugated plumb line is perforated the entire 80' length of the trench, -that the drain is a low pressure system and the disturbed soil around the newly installed drain must have time to compact around the perforated pipe. This will ultimately increase the pressure around the new pipe and force the Pop-up to raise even more efficiently. Due to the 80' trench line and the pipe being perforated it is only reasonable to expect a considerable amount of seepage into the surrounding loose soil. Mr Sandford asked us to install a new concrete patio slab and stop rain water from flooding around the foundation of his home. That is what we accomplished. The water is now running to the front avenue pedestrian R.O.W.

Comments: Per the contractors follow up to my previous review, he is correct that a crew showed up. They told me they were to repair a curbing issue only. They were unaware of the other problems the contractor and I had discussed. 1) concrete crumbling at the joint where the driveway approach met the street. 2) several holes forming in the approach. 3) rebar was sticking out of the concrete where the approach met the street. As far as requesting a new driveway, I only asked the crew what it would take to put in a new approach. What would it cost me and how long it would take. Since the repair crew were professionals, I in no way tried to tell them how to do their job. I only asked questions and asked for them to get with their supervisor. I asked them to have their supervisor contact me. As I stated earlier I then went into my house waiting for a response. There was no response, only the crew driving off.
I am not wanting a new driveway. I am extremely pleased with the way that the driveway turned out. I ONLY WANT the issues with the approach (the slanted part of the driveway that meets the street) repaired. I am still waiting for the contractor to contact me with a repair date. He can contact me with a phone call, text message or thru my email. Once the repairs are made I will change my review rating.

So glad that Kendall and Gabby had positive results. My driveway was also good. The driveway approach (slanted part that goes fromm driveway to street) is where I am having trouble with warranty repair issues. As of today the phone # for total concrete 346-247-9792 and the phone # for Woodley Contracting 832-654-7369 both state "the subscriber you have dialed is not in service". If anyone has a good phone #, please leave the info here. After 1 1/2 years, I would like to get my warrant issues resolved.

Work was performed in March 2021. It is now October 25, 2022. One and a half years! Will not return texts, emails or phone calls. Amun Rex and Freddie Woodley are avoiding me. I can not find a BBB acredited report on them. They have not resonded to the BBB inquiries to fix my problems. STAY AWAY from Rieno Concrete Construction, Total Concrete of Greater Houston and Woodley Contracting Inc.. They will take your money and not honor warranty commitments.

This company and its owner Freddie Woodley, have still not done my warranty repair work. They said they would be out on May 15th, 2022 @ 8am. They then realized it was a Sunday and realized they could not get a crew out. They told me they would reschedule and told me "not to call every day that I was on theit list" They then wanted me to send them my warranty agreement, remove all negative posts and promise not to talk with any crew members if I wanted work to be done. I sent them a copy of the SIGNED warranty agreement by both parties, said I would not talk with their crew provided I was given a phone number to talk with supervisors and that I would redo my reviews in a more positive light ONCE the repair work was done. I have not received any response ( texts, email or phone calls) from the company owner Freddie Woodley. They won't even respond to the Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and their affiliates Rieno Concrete Construction and Woodley Contracting Inc.

I am deeply concerned that the contractor may default on his warranty agreement with me. He keeps stating a misleading response to my complaint. He is stating an issue from Dec. 16, 2021,. He is failing to mention that he scheuled a crew to my house on May 15, 2022, FIVE MONTHS after his crew was originally at my house. He is failing to acknowledge that we had resolved the issue on Dec 16, 2021 and that is why a crew was scheduled on May 15, 2022. He canceled that repair date and blamed COVID, scheduling issues and promised I was on the list. He has not returned my calls, texts or emails. He has now blocked my calls and texts, Attempts to contact his boss Freddie Woodley have also gone unanswered. All I want is for the 5-6 issues with my driveway approach addressed. I am not asking for a new driveway approach. Todays date is December 12, 2022.

Since the contractor canceled his scheduled repair crew for May 15, 2022 @ 8:00am, No crew has been to do the repairs at my house. Phone calls, texts and emails to the owner Freddie Woodley have been left unanswered. I have called weekly to phone numbers 832-654-7369 ( Woodley Contracting,Inc.), 346-247-9792 (Amun Rex w/ Total Concrete of Greater Houston) and 832-654-7369 (Rieno Concrete Construction, Freddie Woodley owner). They have blocked my calls, texts and emails. They have not responded to the BBB. As I have previously stated, the driveway was fine. My problem is with the driveway approach. I will re-do my review once the repairs are done.

UPDATE 1/17/2023.
It is now a new year. Still no word from this company as to when they will honor their written and signed two year warranty agreement with me. Please verify all reviews and the BBB rating of this company before contracting any work with them. I feel that an honorable company would take care of their customers.

01/32/2023. It has now been over 7 (seven) months since Rex Amun stated in an email that I was "on the List" to have my warrantied driveway repairs made. I have a 2 (two) year signed warranty agreement. It has been a year and a half since my requests for repairs have been made. My phone calls to Rex have been blocked. My texts to Rex have been blocked. My emails to Rex have been ignored. The requests by the BBB have gone unanswered. It is my opinion that this company is not going to honor their agreement with me. I would strongly suggest that you look at other companies to do your work.

March 3,2023. This contractor and his owner Freddie Woodley have yet to do my warrantied repairs. They have blocked my texts, emails and phone calls. They have not responded to the BBB. In my opinion if I were thinking of doing a concrete job, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They WILL NOT honor their signed warranty agreements.

Contractor will not honor his warranty agreement with me, It has been almost 2 years since the contractor was notified of defects in my drive way approach. He will not answer my husbands calls, texts and emails. The parent company Woodley Contracting Inc, also will not return requests as to when the repair work will be done. Since they are not honoring their written and signed warranty agreement with me,in my opinion I strongly urge you to DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
As previously mentioned a technician was sent out to make the repairs. As the tech attempted to begin work on the driveway, the client insisted to tell the installer how to make the repairs, expressed that he wanted a new driveway approach, and eventually ran the installer off.

Comments: This review is not for the driveway replacement that they did. It is for their failure to follow up with warranty repairs. Photos were sent to contractor on June 2nd 2021. Amun Rex visited my property in July 2021 to look at warranty issues. He said that a crew would be scheduled to make the repairs. Emails, phone calls,texts and photos were sent to contractor in September, October, November and December in an effort to get the repairs scheduled and work completed. Contractor stated they were out of town, backed up with work and that he would let me know when a repair crew would be available. A crew did show up unannounced on Dec.16, 2021 and started busting up the bad curbing. There was a misunderstanding as to the scope of work to be done. I asked the crew to call Amun Rex for clarification and get with me. I went back in my house and a few minutes later I heard the crew drive off. The contractor and I discussed thru emails the problem and resolved to have the crew come back "after the first of the new year (2022). Many unanswered calls, texts and emails were sent in Jan., Feb., March and April of 2022. Finally on April 7,2022 Amun Rex emailed me to say his crew leader Renato would be at my house on May 15, 2022 at 8:00am to perform the necessary warranty repairs. I was notifed on May 13, 2022 at 7:00am that Renanto would not be there and that they would get back with me as to the new arrival date. I have tried calling Amun Rex/Total Concrete of Houston and the phone # 346-247-9792 is now in opperable. I am extremely worried that this company will not honor their warranty agreement with me. If anyone knows how to reach Amun Rex/Total Concret Of Houston, please let me know.
Per the client's own admission we sent a crew to make the warranty repairs as requested. At which time the client proceeded to tell us how to repair the concrete, essentially demanding for a new driveway and ran the crew off. Anyone can reach us at the 3462479792 number anytime during normal business hour's.

Comments: Total Concrete of Greater Houston installed a stamped porch, sidewalks on both sides of my home, a platform for my trash cans, a patio for the grill, and extended my driveway. I considered this to be a vast job, especially when you consider a customer like me that doesn't have much trusted in contactors. Rex said he understood, and set out to prove that his company was built around integrity and trust, but we all have heard this before, right. To my amazement, he did everything he said. Rex and his team went above and beyond. The project turned out beautifully. I am so impressed and excited about showing it off to my family and friends; you will never understand how I beat this young man up with my past experiences that he had nothing to do with. He never got upset but kept reassuring me that he would take care of the job. I am so glad I hired this company there is no job too big or too small For Total Concrete. I don’t write reviews ever. This is only my second review for anyone, and this is the only one that has earned FIVE STAR. I wish I could upload the photos. LOVING IT!!!!

Comments: Vendor took 50% advance, stalling the project as he doesnt have qualified teams to work on and it has been weeks and cant deliver. Will go legal routes to get the money back. Avoid at all costs
We tried to help this client as we do our best for all clients. The job was scheduled to begin and end over a 4 day period. We started on time with demolition and the pour of his concrete slab which was completed in 2 days. As part of our agreement, he would provide the tile materials for this project. He passed this responsibility on to his wife and niether of them produced those materials for nearly a week and a half later beyond our scheduled completion. In an attempt to accommodate him, he was informed that we would be installing the tile on a certain day and he again failed to have those materials on site for us to perform the work further causing us lost of time and productivity. My qualified team had no choice but to leave the site as we had no specified materials there to work with. He would ask us to do things that were outside of our scope of work like drive 25 mi to pick up the tiles that he was responsible for with no compensation, or to install flagstone that was removed from his porch in a new pathway with no compensation, and insisting that we build on top of his utility easement even after he had been informed that it was illegall to do so, stating that his neighbor had built a pool in his backyard and thus he should be able to build over his easment too? This client also presented checks that the bank would not honor or would hold for 10 business days for suspicion that they would be returned due to his own banking activity. Client ultimately had 3-4 different projects going on at the same time having other contractors leaving their trash, equipment, and other tools on and around our work areas. This job was wrought with problems from the very start. We can only do our best to help thise we can and wish our best to those we can not.

Comments: Rieno Concrete, owner Freddie Woodley, was a delight to deal with.
Our project wasn't large but it involved taking out 27 feet of concrete pool decking, pouring new and adding a pretty finish. A day after the project it looks beautiful and will consider having this finish applied to addition cement areas for a uniform look but will wait and see how we like this product. It says it is mildew resistant; wait and see.
The workers were skilled with cement and were familiar with the equipment they needed to complete the project. Jean Anderson
