Work Description: Tile two showers

Comments: They are terrible in my opinion. The work is (in my opinion) awful. Two weeks after the tile was installed in the master bathroom shower it popped off the wall. Cindy the owner said it wasn't their fault, the thinset must be bad. They put different color shluters (the end caps) on the guest bathroom shower The left side was tan and the right side was brown. They put an orange color corner shelf in my tan bathroom. When I complained they said its not tan it's travertine. I said travertine isn't a color, Cindy said it's marble, and "you are too stupid to know that" (quote) I said marble isn't a color and travertine isn't either. She told me to shut up. The floor on the master bathroom shower has waves in it from not being leveled prior to tiling it. When I complained I was told leveling the floor isn't included. (Huh?) One of the walls had tiles that did NOT extend all the way to the end. I was told I was being nit picky and they weren't fixing it. They also installed cracked and chipped tiles in several places. Again I was told I was being unreasonable and not to expect all the tiles to be perfect. I was told they were imported and couldn't be replaced. Strange that a Lowe's sticker was left on it and I went to Lowe's and found the tile with the exact sku number on the box for $1.70 SQ FT. The shower door that was supposed to be included wasn't either. I had to pay extra and wait 6 weeks to be installed. I was repeatedly told the door companies ( they sub it out and told me that I was ( again) too stupid to know that their promise to do everything doesn't include doors." "In 40 years in business I was the only person who didn't know that subbing out doors isn't included in"we don't sub out stuff." They also demanded an extra 500.00 for the shower door and said what I paid them for the "included" shower door was only a partial payment. I could either lose 800.00 ( what they said was the partial amount included in what I already paid) or pay 500.00 more. Then I was threatened with a lien from them and from the door company. The next day I called the shower door company and they very nicely said they haven't been paid for any of the jobs they did for this company and don't have a clue why anyone would say they were putting a lien on me. FYI: All of this is just my opinion, you can decide if it applies to you.
you are very untruthful I spoke to the other tile installer and he told me that no tiles were popping off the wall that you did not like the color you had chosen and I have his business card. That you were trying to get free shower doors and you and your boyfriend tried to hit me and were very rude and a real class act

Cindy was so fun to work with. She was prompt with her estimate, which was hundreds less then any of my previous quotes! I jumped online and checked their ratings, 99.9% were glowing! Within days, Stan arrived and began my floors! He was professional, polite and has a great work ethic
Showed up, on time, daily! I couldn't be happier!
In my opinion, Sun Valley is the best of the best! 100+ stars, all the way!

Comments: BEWARE!!! of Classic Sun Valley flooring and Tile Once you give them half the money, you are at their mercy. They will lie about anything and everything. We signed a contract (that protects the Kirby's completely, LOOK on the back) on December 23, 2020, and gave them half the money. Here it is May 26, 2021, and we are still not complete. They switched cabinets from Schrock to no-name RTA cabinets and Quartz countertops from $80 per sq. ft. to $68 per sq. ft. These items are on the contract that we paid for. ( Not he said, she said, these are facts, Cindy). They are gone with all our money, and we still have a toilet that leaks after James removed and reinstalled it. A shower that has no hot water after James replaced the faucet value. UPDATE Had to open the wall behind the shower to re-cut the pipes James worked on, to find a dried ball of glue plugging the pipes. Electrical wires in our island that have hot wires showing. They have no license for electrical, plumbing. In the end, we had to pay an extra $930 for countertops and $400 for the completion of our island. Fix the plumbing ourselves. Had no kitchen, kitchen sink, or shower for months. Glad to be done with these shysters.
Ms weaver your job was completed over 2 years ago and I am sorry you were not satisfied. but we stayed with in your budget. however your budget as explained to you did not allow for all the upgrades as you wanted. we did provide you a upgraded countertop and we paid the difference of 985.00. you approved of the cabnets when they arrived at your home as well as you were there from start to finish of the job. your plumbing problems came from a replumb job that you had done on the houses a year before.
