I have been in the carpentry and interior finish trades since 1991. With 25 years of experience, including commercial, institutional, and residential construction, I have a pretty good idea what good craftsmanship looks like. In 2003, after working eight years as a union journeyman carpenter, I ventured out on my own and have enjoyed helping people explore design options with their remodeling projects. While at different times I have employed 1-4 workers and put in long, tireless hours, I have come to realize that family time is increasingly precious so I've scaled back my company to just myself doing small home remodeling and maintenance projects.
I look forward to helping you out around your home with those pesky, menial tasks, so don't let those annoying "honey-do's" keep you from doing what you really want to do!

Work Description: Mud room and half bath, floor and wall tile.
Comments: Nevins Home Improvement recently completed a tile job for my wife and I in our home. We had our mud room and half bath tiled, both received new floor tile, and the half bath got subway tile over an entire wall. Chris was a delight to work with, he was knowledgeable, professional, and understanding. He was willing to take the time to explain to me the process so that I had a good understanding. We asked for a uncommon pattern, four corners, and with very tight grout lines. Chris understood that this would be a challenge, he accepted it, and then knocked it out of the park. We also asked Chris to install an uncommon valve to a fancy faucet that we had bought and designed the bathroom around. He took careful measurements and did the needful to make our dream bathroom start to become a reality. We're very happy with the work that was done.Manitou Beach MI
