Description: Carter Excavating and Clearing LLC is an American owned and USMC veteran operated company registered in Texas. With more than a half century of combined worldwide experience, we specialize in civil construction as well as clearing and grubbing.
As experienced managers from companies like Fluor/Daniels, Raytheon, Halliburton, Kellogg, Brown & Root, IAP Worldwide Services, Schlumberger, US Army Corps of Engineers, and others we possess the expertise, experience, and know-how to accomplish your job professionally, safely, on time, and within budget.
Our safety plan is created with decades of experience worldwide and is approved by certified OSHA personnel. Our motto is Safety First, Safety Last, Safety Always! We understand that worker safety is far more important than a profit margin.
For any excavation or drilling, we can handle all dig permits; we know you would prefer not to deal with the local government offices. In addition - and for added security and safety - we will also sweep the ground with our own equipment prior to turning our first shovel.
We are a small company with worldwide experience - no job is too small. We have the unique ability to mobilize staff and equipment - usually within 72 hours - to your project. While our prime area of operations covers the greater Houston area, we are available throughout the state of Texas.
Our staffing plan consists of as few as one individual for very small projects such as small tree trimming and/or grass cutting, to as many as we need for your project. For your safety and security, all of our workers are drug tested and background checked. Our equipment operators are licensed on the piece of machinery they are operating; most with more than a decade of experience.
The only equipment we own is our truck, trailer, and the small tools we use to work every day. By not owning a half-million dollars of excavating and forestry clearing equipment, we are able to keep our costs lower than most; that savings is passed onto you, the customer. What good is a three-hundred-thousand-dollar excavator if it sits idle forty percent of the year, but we still have to make the payments? It works well for large companies that perform highways, but not for us. We have rental agreements in place with several companies and can mobilize almost any piece of equipment, dump truck, or roll-off dumpster within 1-2 days.
