Work Description: Springs Replace
Comments: Well, my garage door spring and one of the wires that pulls it up broke on Monday (Memorial Day). I didn't realize that garage door springs break, but in retrospect it makes sense since it was 13 years old. Fortunately I had just put my kayak back in the garage before it broke! Lifting that door without a spring would have been very challenging.I reached out to a few providers, but Best & Local had real time immediate chat Memorial Day evening which was super great and helpful from estimated costs to booking an appointment.
I decided to wait until Monday morning to get some more quotes, but realized in the morning that Best & Local had a good price, provided 10% off to Yelp customers, provided a 3 year warranty, and had a great 5 star rating. So I booked a 4:30PM appointment for today (Tuesday).
Eddie showed up at 4:20PM and was at work addressing the broken spring and wire at 4:30. By 4:55 he was done and his tools were cleaned up. I was there to test it for the first time and it worked beautifully - and quieter than before since he lubricated the joints and moving parts.
So overall I really wasn't wanting to spend money on my garage door, but Best & Local did it quickly with high quality and at the right price. Thank you Eddie!
