Comments: I am very disappointed with this company. My son paid Alex $3,000 to complete a project at his house. A year later, after still not completing the project, Alex said the price would now be $12,000 to finish the project. Alex refused to refund the $3,000 that was paid or to complete the work for less than $12,000. The worst part is that Alex is family, he is my grandson's uncle. If Alex would do this to family, I don't know what he'd do for a normal customer. I like Alex, however, I am very disappointed with his customer service. Alex was quick to collect $3,000, however, a year later he still refuses to make this situation right.

UPDATE:
After posting my last review, I received phone calls at 10:39 PM and 10:50 PM from Alex with threatening implications telling me to remove my review of his company. Alex also stated that he refunded the $3,000 that was paid by Nick to Alex's own sister and just never notified anyone. If that is actually true, Alex refunded the wrong person. The project still has not been completed a year later. Beware of this company and their questionable business practices!

Comments: After our job site was left abandoned and incomplete, we were devastated. After spending thousands of dollars to repair our home we found out that the previous contractor did not pull any permits and did not abide by code requirements. A friend recommended we use Alex! By far the best decision, Alex was very knowledgable and familiarized with local code guidelines and was able to correct all of our home's problems very fast. Inspection passed on the first go and we could not be happier!

Work Description: Remodeled Bathroom/Plumming Work

Comments: Alex and his crew never arrived on time, he had 5 to 6 different workers in and out of my home, one guy laid my tile wrong on the floor and walls, my walls had to be replaced, the doors was cut wrong, I had a toilet in the box that I purchased for my other bathroom, when Alex and his crew left my home the last day of work after I paid him, he took my toilet with him(stole). I stopped payment on the check until the repairs was done. A Saturday morning I was leaving he sent the plumber out to do the repairs and he brought me a toilet back open, I inform him to leave I wasn't leaving them in my home alone. I purchased a cashier's check, deducted the cost of the toilet, baseboard, vent to air conditioner, mailed it to him, he cashed it got his money. Today at 1:21pm I received a call from the owner of a store where Alex Perez went and cashed that check that I stopped payment on. He's not to be trusted.

Work Description: Roofing, siding, and drywall

Comments: The contractor scheduled an appointment, came to my home to see the work that I was requesting to be completed, then gave a bid that was acceptable. He stated that he could do the work and had experience with completing roofing, siding, and dry wall and cabinets. Throughout the process of doing the work, he would often not be present while his workers would work after stating that he would. His staff would do the opposite of what was agreed and perform sloppy work. After being notified the work was completed, I quickly identified many flaws in the work. He would apologize and say he would send his workers back out. His workers came out to try to fix the roof over 3 times and the issue is still present. Ultimately, he did not honor the contract. The work was not of quality and he did not resolve the concern. When the rain began, it started leaking in other areas of the house that was not leaking prior to him starting the job. He would state someone is coming to fix the concerns; however, the rain continued to leak in the house in several areas that did not have a leak prior to the roof work that he and staff completed. He also replaced the siding that looks slightly identical to the original condition of the sliding. It is not even or flush to the foundation, the paint is discolored and not matching due to only (one coat), roofing cement was put on the "brand new" siding which was one of the reasons I paid to have it replaced. The company also failed to complete each area of siding agreed upon, again not honoring the contract. Last, the company agreed to replace four areas of drywall (staircase, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom) and paint the kitchen cabinets and both bathroom tile and floors. Alex and his staff only completely repaired one area (staircase), fixed the initial drywall in the kitchen but created new damage in the kitchen ceiling due to the roof incorrectly being installed. They also only painted one bathroom which is also sloppy.

Comments: The job started well, but upon completion they asked for additional money for unauthorized work. They then threatened to take legal action. The work was not discussed or agreed upon. I then asked them to remove additional work and they are still threatening me. Please steer clear as the communication with this contractor is very unclear.
After commencing work on the project, we were made aware of the potential for significant water collection and flooding issues to occur on the Property and neighboring properties should the sidewalk be constructed as agreed. We made you aware of the potential for these issues to occur, and suggested that the installation of the French Drain would remedy the potential for the occurrence of these issues. After speaking with your neighbor regarding this potential, you approved the installation of the French Drain on our suggestion by stating “do what you have to do”. Furthermore, while we were performing the improvements in accordance with your oral directive, we sent pictures of the work in progress, including pictures of the installation of the French Drain on the Property. Your response to the text messages acquiesced to the installation of the French Drain by sending a “thumbs up” emoji. After we completed its work on the Property, we submitted an additional invoice to you in the amount of $1,650.00. When first presented to you, you agreed to pay the invoice. However, you subsequently informed us that you would only agree to pay for half of the invoice submitted if your neighbor paid the other half. Thereafter, you further refused to pay us for the improvements made to your property because there was not a signed change order approving the work. We are fully prepared and will take any necessary legal actions required to recover the costs of the unpaid work we performed at your property.
