Work Description: Patio and Deck
Comments: I wish I would've done more research on this contractor before hiring him. There were red flags right off the bat when I had the hardest time getting a hold of him after he came to give us the initial quote. We did go back and fourth a lot on what we were wanting but who doesn't. Since we were having a hard time in general finding a contractor for our project and he was lowest bid at the time we decided to go with him. He took longer than initially quoted to start the project and longer than quoted to finish. During the process he was very difficult to get a hold of when we had concerns about the work his crew was doing. Speaking of his crew, they seemed to be some random people that he found hanging out behind a Home Depot waiting for work to be offered. There was a 2 week period when his crew didn't show up to work and he told me that his crew were having car problems and would be out when they could. When I asked his crew when they finally showed up they said they didn't come out because Daniel wasn't providing them with the materials to finish the work which is why the didn't come out. Daniel, however, is johnny on the spot when it came time to collect funds. When the project was "completed" he said to let him know if we find anything that needs correcting. Well not even 2 weeks later we found issues and he refuses to answer or respond to calls or texts. I called him from a different phone number to see if he would answer and he did. He was completely taken off guard and said sorry they've just been really busy and that he had to let go of some of his guys which is why he hadn't gotten back to me. He said he and his crew would be out the following Saturday. Saturday comes and of course, NO CALL NO SHOW!! I had someone waiting at my property all morning till I finally waved them off. He has blocked my number plus the other number I called him from. Daniel Cardenas is a TRASH contractor and Weasel. DO NOT HIRE THIS SCUM!!!Converse TX

Work Description: Hired to build patio with pergola and other concrete work.
Comments: This contractor was dishonest and terrible at following through with work. My project was left incomplete with terrible quality and had property I purchased for the project that the contractor stole upon not completing the job and never returning it.-
