Comments: This installer was a blessing; to make a long story short, the canopy was too small to house the receiver for the remote. The attic space was right there next to the fan so he wired the receiver in from the attic. So a lesson learned not all ceiling fans are remote compatible and to make sure the canopy is oversized.
