Work Description: Carport and Driveway

Comments: Not satisfied with work done. When I pointed out problems Jack didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. My main problems was the unevenness of the asphalt. One side of driveway is one to two inches taller then the other side. Asphalt was not laid in a straight line in several areas. Jack does not listen to customer. Spent $8200 and not satisfied at all. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
There was no pleasing this customer complaint about every thing,we did work that wasnt even discussed,the raised part is the area u ask to be higher,asphalt isnt like concrete that has a border.he went to 2 other crew members with different issues.

Comments: Work was done well. I didn't get competing bids, and am left with the feeling I paid too much for the work.
Sorry you,feel that way,most companies have a minimum for work I concluded,which I don’t,we had to saw cut and haul off materials..i always tell customers we aren’t the cheapest but we do what we say.

Comments: I went with all sons asphalt and construction because of the communication,they did rush with with the same old and line of doing a job up the road or happen to be in the area.The gave me the time I need to make my decision and I’m glade Jack gave me the job i expected.there was a area we never discussed they took care of it with no extra charge.

Comments: Company did not fulfill contract and wanted to charge additional for finishing the job. Would not recommend. We have an unfinished portion of driveway that is now a liability.
the work was done according to the contract,you expected the area to be done that was not in contract or talked about,I offered to do the work you mentioned at a discounted price but you said you didn’t want to spend the money.we paint out lines 1 day before the job was installed if it was a issue you would have mentioned it before asphalt was installed not days later after job was completed.sorry you feel this way and that we couldn’t come to a agreement to do the access work you wanted done.

Comments: I must admit the choice of who to do the work was hard. Jack had the best communication, listed several reasons to choose him and had the best warranty. My driveway looks good and compacting was excellent.
One of the things I was warned about was for 1 week until the pavement was fully cured do not turn wheels while stopped. The day after the asphalt was put down some idiot kid with his jacked up Chevy Diesel decided to do a turn around in my driveway and turned his wheels while stopped before backing up. I could see marks where he did it but the asphalt was not damaged.
