Comments: I can't complete the rating properly because they did not ever return to complete the job. Paul and team never returned to remove the large logs (which was part of the agreement) and the stump was left 3ft tall (approx). I texted and talked with him by phone several times to find out when he planned to return to remove the wood, and in the beginning he said soon, soon, but he never gave me a specific return date, and he has since stopped responding to my inquiry texts. I paid him in full at the beginning of the job, and that was my mistake. I can not recommend him based on the incomplete job and the lack of communication.

Work Description: Irrigation repair and expansion, laying pavers, planting and other jobs that had been agreed upon but not completed.

Comments: Unfortunately Paul is most unreliable and took jobs he is not able to perform correctly on the cost of my precious time and money.
I hired him through Networks and paid half dollar amount of the discussed project upfront on 6/1/21.
He told me he wanted to get the job we agreed on done within two days. Today is 7/26/21 - two month later - and he did not even finish half of the discussed work. Many times he told me to be at my house to continue the project and he did not only not show up, but he did not even tell me he would not come,- he just did not show up. So many times I had arranged my schedule to be at the job site and then he would just not appear. Strangely he texted me often about his whereabouts though, that he "came home late, will be driving out tonight, just got back last night…car accident, a relative passed away..." stuff that I am really not happy about to be text - harassed with and not interested to know about, - even about his wife’s medical condition he told me,- I find him extremely unprofessional.
He told me he would take the trash out of the backyard after every day of work, because it would not be nice to do otherwise, but Paul left
the trash ( his plastic drinking cups with straws in them, empty water bottles in our back yard on the ground, rocks and cement pieces ) from a job left half undone in our backyard for nineteen!! days. The trash laying there for so long caused a few big brown holes in our green grass.
Network asked me to write a review at a time by which the project should have been finished. So I had written a one star review a few weeks in after Paul had collected half of the dollar amount for the entire job but not really gotten much done yet. A few days later he called me at 6:00am! very upset about the review although everything in it had been nothing but the truth. He did not take the responsibility for his actions at all. I decided to delete the review in order to give him a second chance. That had been a bad idea, because his behavior got even worse.
After I told him very friendly that I did not want to receive anymore personal texts about his whereabouts, but just about work related things, he all over sudden informed me that he did not want to do a certain job we had agreed on, and parts of that job, he even tried to delegate to me.
Not a man of his word, not reliable, not respectful, unfortunately not taking responsibility for his own actions. I should have seen it coming when he rang my doorbell 30 minutes before our first appointment, informing me he was here earlier, because he was in the area, laughing insecurely.
It had been a very unpleasant experience to me, but I admit I am partly responsible, because I continued to trust him.
I am sorry you feel unsatisfy with the job performance , that was provided, half the money you paid up front took care of what he planted for you and the pavers . we also work around your schedule many times and the times he didn't show up was because you didn't have the material ready for him, if the workers don't show up for a reason its usually something personal , he was kind enough to let you know his situation, I apologize if you disagree with it but please dont add thinks to your comments that are not true , there where many time when your text message responds , where a little unpleasant as well , but we still decided to continue the job, I once again apologize for any inconvenience this may have cost. hope you have a blessed day.

Comments: Paul & Myra came even though the weather wasn't great. It was raining off and on for most of the day. I needed a palm tree trimmed because of the weather it was hanging in the neighbors yard. They did a great job and very professional. Would definitely recommend DAA Landscaping!

Paul came in and took before and after pictures of both the front and back yards. He was still on site when he sent the after pictures, so if I had any questions he could address them at that time. He did a marvelous job and clean up was fantastic. I would use his services again if needed.

Comments: Paul (DAA) was great. The job was clearing out a bunch of overgrown agave, trimming a couple trees, and moving small boulders from my backyard to outside my front fence. The price was fair and Paul and his nephew cleaned up everything when the job was done. (They are also very personable.) I would use them again and would also recommend them if you have an outdoor project.
