Work Description: Moving entire contents of home from storage unit to new house
Comments: We had a great experience with Advanced Moving. When we moved out of our house into, our new house was not yet ready and our 3 bedroom house contents were moved into a large storage unit. The movers we hired at first were absolutely terrible and we did not hire them again when it was time to move from the storage unit to our new house. I contacted Jose because I had previously rented a vacation rental property from him when he mentioned he also had a moving company. I told him that I’d like him to take our items out of the storage unit and move them into our new house, and did warn him the storage unit was packed terribly. The day of the move, as Jose and his crew were already on their way to the storage unit, I received a call from manager of storage facility that our building had been struck by lightning and there was no power and the door was electronically closed. Jose still came down and waited on someone to get the doors open but that person was running greatly late and Jose explained he would come back the next day when he could get into the unit. The following morning Jose and his crew drove back over an hour 1 way to the storage unit and although they were able to access the building, there was no power, no air conditioning and no use of the elevator. Jose and his crew worked tirelessly to get all of our terribly packed items out of our storage unit in the darkness and over 85 degree heat, on the second floor using only the dark stairwells. It took much longer than anyone expected and I am grateful to Jose and his crew for their help!!! I could go on, but I would highly recommend Jose and the crew at Advanced Moving!
