Work Description: Heat Blower motor on gas fireplace stopped working
Comments: I initially call your company and explained that the blower in my gas fireplace stopped working. I was assured that this could be serviced. So….your young “pro” came to my house and after taking a very quick, 15 minute look at my fireplace, told us “we don’t do repairs, we do replacement parts”. He then went on to say that the entire unit in the fireplace would need to be replaced and the cost would be $3500!!! We said “no thanks”. After your “pro” left, my husband went to buy batteries for the blower motor remote control. We had been turning the blower on manually, but wondered if using the remote control would work. Lo and behold, it worked. The heat blower motor is working perfectly. The battery cost $7.95. I shudder to think what if we had said “yes, replace the unit, based on what your “pro” told us. This person Adic Pro sent to our home was totally incompetent. If he was a “pro” in his assessment of the fireplace, he would have checked out everything, including both the manual control and the remote control to the heat blower. I am extremely dissatisfied, disappointed, and disgusted with Adic Pro. Needless to say, I will never recommend this company.Mchenry IL

Comments: Very confused- was contacted by Adic Pro after I put in an inquiry on a different companys website.. Adic pro called me and scheduled the cleaning for the following day- two men came and walked through everything and did a cleaning- when I got the receipt after paying, the company listed on the receipt was not Adic Pro. That was worrisome and then felt as though I was getting scammed. I called ADIC pro and was told it’s a sister company that did the work and then received a receipt from ADIC pro. Some clarity and transparency would have been helpful, as I was googling phone numbers and the company on the first receipt.The workers were kind, did their job in a timely manner.

Comments: We enjoy using our fireplace every year, but it requires cleaning. So, we contacted Adic Pro to clean and inspect it. Luckily, the inspection didn't reveal any issues with the chimney. However, since our house is old, we know that there will be a time when repairs will be necessary. It's a relief to know that we have a good service provider in Adic Pro. Their service was super professional and efficient!
