Fertilization Program 2019!

A Green Lawn takes pride on staying up-to-date on current and evolving trends in the lawn care industry. We continually strive to provide our customers with the best products and service available for a healthy and beautiful landscape while being environmentally conscience. The results of our efforts is a new more environmentally friendly fertilizer program for your turf!
This new program will incorporate a slow-release nitrogen fertilizer which supplies carbon (energy) and nitrogen (food) to microbes in the soil. This process is unlike most other nitrogen fertilizers where carbon is chemically converted to CO2 and lost to the atmosphere. Now, soil microorganisms release the nitrogen throughout the growing season instead of using chemicals. With more food and energy, microbial populations multiply and decompose organic residue faster. Multiple benefits include:
Organic feeding by providing both energy and rich carbon and nitrogen for increased microbial activity.
Reduced plant stress.
Vigorous root growth and dense top growth
Reduced thatch development and enhanced formation of humus.
A non-burning, low-salt index form of nitrogen.
Leach resistance to protect the environment and ground water.
