The city is home to the legendary Emery Theatre, but until recently, residents feared the 100-year-old structure would never open again. But thanks to a new partnership between the Emery Center Corporation Board and a new nonprofit called The Requiem Project, the “acoustically pure” theater will undergo major renovations and open once more. The theater has been closed to the public since 1988 but will undergo a three-phase project.
