Work Description: Basement remodel
Comments: These people are a bunch of stupid people. I went to the address listen 125 Rosemont and a 80 year old lady answered... Sign number 1 fraud.... Then I met a friend of there family and found out they scammed the lady at 125 Rosemont to turn over there house to them and they would take care of her... I found out she passed away they left in the nursing home to die.... Is this who we do business withHampshire IL

Work Description: Installing trim and stair railing
Comments: This company was not skilled to complete the work for which they were hired. Not only did we have to redo a lot of the work ourselves, but they created more messes for us to fix. They were hired to install moulding, base, trim and stair railing. The miters did not match. When installing the base, the pieces were cut too short. Their solution was to just fill mistakes with caulk. We custom made our own plinth blocks, which we also installed in order to ensure they were centered properly. When they cut a piece of base too short to be installed next to the blocks, the blocks were hammered over to meet the base instead of cutting properly. The hammer used also had a grooved head (probably a framing hammer), which damaged the plinth blocks. Any carpenter with any skills would know not to use a grooved hammer on the front of an aesthetic piece of wood. Someone did come to fix the uncentered plinth block. Unfortunately, this left a gap that needed to be filled with caulk. When I say there was a gap left, I am talking a good 1/4" or more gap to fill.They did not fully complete the stair railing installation by screwing in the post covers. (Minor detail and really not a big deal). While installing the stair railing, they managed to get epoxy on our new wood flooring.
They had many attempts to fix all problems before we moved in. However, they were still trying to fix different things while we were living in the home. Many of the issues we fixed ourselves. Others issues were never completed.
