Work Description: TruTex subcontracted to another vendor without advice or approval. Subcontractor took at least one day longer than necessary to complete work due to extended "break times" (1.5 hours-plus) and late arrivals/early departures. Final product is satisfactory, if less than perfect.
Comments: TruTex could not get the agreed fence wood (white spruce) from normal vendor, alternate supplier provided lower-quality product (lots of split or warped boards and fallen-out knotholes) - had to remind subcontractor several times not to use unsatisfactory materials. Some of the cracked boards (and one warped) still got into the fence.Terrell TX
