Work Description: Needed our heat fixed fast. My family and I went on vacation and I got a notification on my phone that the house was 50 degrees and it's 27 outside. I frantically called plumbers from google and only Pipe Doctor answered at 11:30pm on New Years Eve.
Comments: One of their plumbers arrived at 2am and my cousin let them in. He expected the guy to be drunk but quickly got to work. By 3:30am New Years the boiler was fixed. Was expensive - over a thousand dollars - but none of my pipes froze and I got to enjoy the rest of my vacation (we were in Thailand visiting my wife's family). Even though it was expensive I will definitely call them again since they are so responsive and prompt.

Comments: Last week, I came home to a minor fire in my boiler room. My old Weil Mclain gas boiler had a fire and needed to be replaced. I called The Pipe Doctor Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning to give me an estimate. The "comfort specialist" arrived within 2 hours and after an hour discussing all my options, I was given a detailed proposal for a new Burnham gas boiler and 75 gallon water heater. I emphasize on detailed. Everything was detailed down to the number of valves being installed. Mike, our "comfort specialist" promised installation the next day (it was 7pm) and guaranteed that I do not have to pay until we are 110% satisfied. I came home at 4:30pm the next day, and the installation crew was almost done cleaning up! We received MORE than we expected. Mike promised that his crew and himself would treat my home like it was their own - and they delivered. We are very pleased with the professionalism, promptness and efficiency of The Pipe Doctor.

Comments: Mike, George, Peter and the rest of the guys at the 24 Hour Pipe Doctor plumbing, heating & air conditioning in Franklin Square really know their business. We called at 5:45am truly expecting to get an answering machine like everyone else, however, we were very mistaken. The phone didn't even ring before their voice mail system immediately said: "If you have an emergency, press 9 now for immediate 24 hour service". Let me tell you, that speaks volumes - just like the rest of the reviews here! 10 seconds, or maybe 9 seconds later, Mike picked up the phone and greeted us like a doctor would. Not like the ordinary plumber! He was able to guide us through finding the main water valve in the basement which, of course, was broken. He then reassured us that HE would be at our house in less than 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, truthful, Mike pulled up in that cool truck and got to work. One hour later, we had a new reliable ball valve for the main valve and he fixed the split pipe.

Explained everything to me so I could understand why my air conditioning broke, what is needed to be done to prevent it from happening again (change my filters) and even showed me where my main valve is in the basement for the water! Comments: WOW! Emergency Plumbing Service at its BEST! I needed my BOILER REPAIRED, because I had NO HEAT and my family feared we would have FROZEN PIPES. I called THE PIPE DOCTOR in WOODMERE, NY - they are on LONG ISLAND. I had SAME DAY SERVICE. Mike told me about a FREE SERVICE CALL coupon on the website, www.pipedoc.net, and there was no worry! The technician got here with a FULLY STOCKED TRUCK and took care of the problem. Turned out the BOILER was LEAKING and I needed it REPLACED. I got a GREAT PRICE on a new BURNHAM BOILER with all new parts! They really are PROFESSIONAL! I now have a CONTRACT on my PLUMBING and HEATING and soon my AIR CONDITIONING. I live in MERRICK, NY. Comments: Had an emergency sewer stoppage and just got back from a vacation at 11:45pm. Called and a real plumber answered the telephone. He personally came out and within 90 minutes from when I called my sewer stoppage was cleaned. The technician even told me how to prevent future stoppages by using a product called BIO CLEAN. GREAT JOB PIPE DOCTOR!

Work Description: I have been a customer since 1999 and The Pipe Doctor Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning services my gas heating steam boiler, plumbing system and my central air conditioning system. Last year, I finally decided with the help of the Pipe Doctor, to replace my ancient Central AC system. The Pipe Doctor took the time to explain all my options, came several times when I had further questions, and professionally installed a high efficency puron system.
