Work Description: Bathroom remodel
Comments: I am posting this warning for possible future customers of Taracon Construction, Tom Cucchiara. We entered into a contract on Sept 24, 2021 for a remodel of our 8x5' guest bathroom. As of Feb. 28, 2022 when we finally moved on, we had given him $15K and are left with no walls, no ceiling and not all the products we paid for. He demanded more $ before he would return to do work since he used all our $ for bills. He did get sick in November, but we paid him in Sept and this should have been done waaay before then. Lots of promise dates but didn't start until Nov 5, 2021 to get sick after 4 days. This project will take our new contractor 1-2 wks to complete and he is practically starting from scratch. We have waited 5 months without a bathroom for this to be completed. Shameful behavior by this guy.Freehold NJ

Work Description: A fixed window shutter loosened from the 2nd floor brick face requiring the old shutter lock fasteners to be drilled out and new shutter lock fasteners installed to re-affix the shutter.
Comments: Tom Cucchiara was extremely professional and customer focused. He returned my call promptly and had to schedule another call with me that afternoon due to a prior commitment. He called promptly that afternoon and visited the site for an estimate. He was right in the ball park for what I anticipated the cost to be. He came the next day on time and completed the task. Being a master carpenter, the task was professionally done! I was impressed when he said this work was right up his alley. I spoke with two other shutter firms who were way overpriced and not interested in doing such a small job. I have other major home improvement projects in mind for 2018 and Tom is at the top of my selection list based on his professionalism and quality of work.-
