Work Description: painting/kitchen cabinet restore
Comments: Promised things she did not know how to do! The paint job was not done and needed a 2nd coat, ceiling and moldings needed touched up from all the times the wall paint hit it! Cancelled so many times, I finally told her not to come back and I would hire someone else. The biggest mess was the kitchen cabinets! She did the entire job in a day telling me she primed them and painted two coats! There was no primer and only one coat of paint. The entire kitchen needs to be redone! The paint scrapes off with my fingernail. She charged me $5900 for work that needs completely redone. We settled on a $2000 refund so I can pay another contractor to redo the kitchen cabinets and she has not paid one dime of it! My daughter came and painted the other walls and ceilings for me so I didn't need to hire more people! It has been so disappointing and I am just devastated! Stephanie Drum unfortunately didn't match her sparkling and friendly personality. I got taken!Fillmore NY

Comments: DO NOT HIRE HER!!!! She was paid$3500. 00 up front to put in insulation, walls, floor and a small widow. Then we gave her another$3500. She shows up by herself, doesn't have all the materials, always late or just doesn't show at all. She is a liar. Has many excuses. Never completed the job. And now we can't even get the job done by anyone else because we don't have the funds. She also claimed that she was trying to rent a truck to bring in the materials because hers was in the shop for repairs. We called the company (uhaul) where she claims she was and they said they had trucks available but she wasn't there at all. This woman is a scammer!!

I also learned that she scammed a friend out of $3000 for loans and car rental fees that he loaned her, and she n ever attempted to pay. I have never, never seen such blantant disrespect and unprofessionalism from ANY business, let alone a contractor. I strongly warn any prospective client to heed this warning and NOT hire. I had to do all the work myself as I could not afford to pay for the job twice. We sued her in small claims court and won but will never see a dime out of her.We were interviewed by the Niagara County Sheriffs about her, She is the target of a criminal investigation.
