Unfortunately postings like this occur and it is not always the plumbers fault. She was not happy about having just purchased the apartment that came along with such a problem. She had a leak in her toilet to the apartment below. To fix the leak you have to lift the toilet and replace the wash ring. It was after 4pm so we could not have the building shut off the water. We told her there is no shut off valve for the toilet and she still insisted we do it now. We warned her that it would leak a lot. The truth in this is that we had to use 3 of her towels, however the other truth to that is that she offered us the towels because she wanted it done and not to wait until the next day when we could come with proper cleaning materials, not to mention shutting the water off. From our perspective she only was unhappy about the price and this she was unhappy about because someone working in her building told her that she should be charged $150, setting her expectations to low before we arrived.
