Work Description: Roofing, Insurance process
Comments: I will start by saying I am extremely happy with the results I received from Smart Builders. We had a few roof inspectors come to our home and offer a free roof inspection because of a hailstorm in our area. I was skeptical that my roof had any damage. The inspectors that initially inspected my roof did not report any credible reason that my roof would qualify for a replacement. Then I met Andrew Popovich who introduced himself in August 2021. He offered an inspection but assured me he was not interested in wasting our time if he did not believe my home’s roof was a good candidate for replacement. He explained exactly what kind of damage he was going to look for and would provide photographic evidence of his findings. After showing me the evidence, he provided very detailed answers to my questions and gave convincing reasons why my insurance company would be amenable to a claim. He made an attractive offer and I proceeded with his plan.Within about 3 days Andrew returned with my insurance agent to do another inspection. To my surprise the agent confirmed my roof had sustained damage and it would be replaced at no cost to me. Shortly after, Andrew brought samples of shingles, helped me choose each one of the materials that would be installed, and discussed details of the warranty. About 3 weeks later, a crew of Smart Builders’ roofers had my roof replaced in just over 1 day. The work included additional repairs to ensure there would be no problems with the installation. The job was outstanding. Even my neighbors who were watching the crew working were impressed.
In my experience, I have rarely had the opportunity to work with builders that have an excellent work ethic. Andrew and Smart Builders freely supplied many very educational tips and delivered a superior job. I could not be happier and recommend Smart Builders without any hesitation.
