Comments: This guy ( Donald Simon)(Simon World) is a con artist. He’s not a licensed contractor nor does he have an active business license which he said he had. I gave him a $4,000.00 deposit and he didn’t show up the next day nor did he call. I thought he stole me money. He hand delivered the check to my bank and cashed it.He turned a 4 day job into 12 days and still wasn’t half way complete. Everyday for 11 days he showed up late and only worked 3.5 hours . This guy is a fast talker. His ass should be in jail for deceiving hard working people. He damaged over $2,000.00 worth of material that I purchased. He subcontracted my carpet installation and after the installation was completed he was no were to be found and did not pay the carpet guy from the $4,000.00 deposit as agreed.. He cut out the toilet flanges and subfloor in 2 bathroom unnecessarily and now I have to pay a plumber and carpenter to fix what he screwed up. Donald Simon is by far the worst so called contract I ever had do deal with.UPDATE:
This so called contractor Ronald Simon of Simon World is by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with. He wasted over $2,000.00 worth of material and damaged subfloors. I gave him a $4,000.00 deposit for tile and carpet installation and after my many complaints he subcontracted the carpet and after the carpet guy finished the installation Ronald Simon did not pay the guy. I posted a negative review on Networx. Com and received a call from a rep (Bruce) He asked me if I would remove my post If he spoke with Ronald Simon about a refund of my deposit. Today 10/28 I looked on the site and see a portion of my review has be removed. The words were Networx.com is doing a disservice to any consumers Ronald Simon reach through their site if the don’t remove him. Nice going Networx. My next call will be to Consumer Protection of GA.. I’m going to do everything possible to stop Simon World for ripping off hard working people.
