Work Description: Redue shower and repipe house
Comments: **DO NOT HIRE** What a con-man preying on Senior Citizens! Hired by Father in law to clean out the water heater. Chris (plumber) goes into the restroom and finds a leaky valve under the sink. He convinced my in laws that they have galvanized pipes throughout the house and scares them into re-piping the whole house. Their house already had copper pipe, I know because I been in that attic plenty of times doing projects for them. Father in law is a senior citizen and takes his word for it because Chris starts talking about church and that he takes care of Seniors. Chris pressures him into starting right away since he could do it now and will only take a few days. Father in law gave him check for 50% of the quote which Chris cashes immediately. He does start work immediately but the nightmare starts there. During demo they ripped out more than what was necessary and told my father in law that he has to use his tile guy. Guys would not let father in law supervise work. Told him he needs to get out of the way and very inappropriate comments. They would even work cutting pipes for other jobs while at this job site. After second day they started packing all the tools and materials. Father in law had a feeling they were not going to come back. Chris will not answer calls and says he is out of town for an emergency all of a sudden (Sounds familiar). Bathroom left in shambles and water lines switched up in the attic. Hot water now comes out of the water hose. The shower liner he installed is not one single piece but a patch job so that would have leaked in no time. Only positive is he did a good job installing shower valve. Never started on re-piping rest of house, did less than 1/3 of job and took off with money. He did not even leave the materials which to me means he had no plans of coming back. Tried to resolve issue with Chris and pay him for what work he did do and reimburse rest but he won’t answer calls, even from different phone numbers. Looked up his Plumbers license after the fact and it is expired and he has a disciplinary action against his license. I bet you can guess why.

Comments: Christopher does good work. I always refer him to others.-
