Work Description: Raccoon removal

Comments: The work is still going on. Traps caught one raccoon the first night but none since with several repeated re-batings even though the soffit was ripped open again. Not sure how efficient this process is at the moment.
We caught two more raccoons today! After that we installed a custom built one-way into a tight spot on a steep angle roof. It was difficult but the traps wouldnt work on the angled roof. This was the only way to be sure they are all out since it seemed there was more than one. Unfortunately, there was no access to the attic space, so we had to do all the work from the exterior of the house. But after catching two more raccoons today. Persistense pays off. We think we caught the troublemakers. After some cold cold nights and catching a few neighborhood cats which spoils the trapping for the night, we decided to keep trapping and re-assess the problem the next day. We had a few ideas but the best was to move the traps out of reach of any cats and i built the one-way and installed it to the soffit area. I plan to not charge the homeowner for a few days of trapping when she was travelling and we didnt catch anything. Usually, we have the problem solved by 5 days so I think the really cold weather kept the raccoons inside a few nights.
