Work Description: 3000 square foot driveway
Comments: Nu-tech Concrete was paid in full for a 3000 square foot driveway. They were supposed to do the dirt/prep work, lay rebar and pour the concrete. The dirt work, which was actually just sand, was never level. The contract stated redwood expansion joints which were never installed. He was paid his final payment the day of the concrete pour 5/31/2018, but only poured 1/3 of the concrete and then packed up and left. He has not finished the job and it has now been 9 weeks. We have repeatedly asked him to finish the job, then when he schedules the concrete and gives us a date, he calls and cancels the concrete delivery the day before, but never informs us. He has lied to us on numerous occasions and gets very combative when you try to get a TRUE reason as to why he cannot or won't finish this job. The 1/3 concrete he did pour is cracking in 3 places, because he said he would saw cut it but never did. First he said it cracked because we drove on it, we did not. Then he said it cracked because we removed the forms too early, which we did not. He also did not pull the rebar up as the concrete was being poured, so now the rebar is just laying on the ground under the driveway. We are out over $15,000 and no driveway. We had to have all the rebar he did lay removed because the site is unlevel and he has abandoned the job for so long that grass is now growing back where the concrete was to be poured. He has excuses for everything and blames the customer for his mistakes and failure to complete the job. He also had the concrete truck back up onto my perfectly good existing driveway and cracked two slabs. He promised to replace them which he has not. I have had quotes to fix/repair/finish the mess he has left and it is going to cost me another $15,000! He has also left wood pieces with nails sticking out of them and a debris bag of sand in my street which I now have to pay over $500 to have removed. I would DEFINITELY not recommend Nu-Tech Concrete & Construction. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of 2/3 of my money since he never completed the job but he has refused.Houston TX

Comments: PLEASE BE CARFUL....Use them if you want too,,, if you want to be blamed for complaining because they started the project on 3-19-18 and to this day still not done .What was promised is not completed . They did not take ownership of certain mistake blamed other and put me in the middle of it. As for my driveway I am happy I have a new one it is lot better then what I had, but I have had to patch a spot already and it is cracking in some areas. But when I ask about it I am told I am a complainer. Had to finish up my self and will have to fix damages my self. So use them if you want too.

The price was so reasonable, it was a fraction of the previous quote I had gotten, I accepted it immediately. Work Description: Galvis the owner of Nu-Tech told us the project would be completed in three days. That was on 6/29/17. Today is 8/7/17 and my project has not been completed. We paid for French drain, dirt, rock and concrete to be poured and as of today he has not completed the work. Nor will he refund our money. Instead my yard is a mess! He even left wood and steel reinforcement in the grass that I had to move myself. Nu-Tech absolutely does not keep their comments!

Work Description: 28' X 10' slab & ramp for storage building. Moved and adjusted sprinkler heads. Removed vines from fence. Took out 10' of 6' chain link fence, removed and replaced 2 poles connecting fence to the poles. The fence was not straight is the reason poles had to be moved. I am glad he pointed that out to me. I don't think all companies would have.
Comments: Was early to do work. Did a great job. Also cleaned up everything and put dirt on sides of ramp. Galvis went out of his way to do a remarkable job. I highly recommend this company.All this and he was the lowest bid.
