"Why do air conditioning units fail as the hottest days set in? That's what happened to me, as a fifteen year old unit gave up just as the temperatures hit 100. MODERN has done service work for me in the past, and they were my first call. On a weekend, they were at my house in a couple of hours and made a complete assessment. A new A/C unit was necessary. I had done some homework, and the bid they gave me for a new unit and installation was excellent. Knowing the heat wave was taking a toll, the installation crew worked late into the night to install the new unit. They even had to deal with a power outage in the neighborhood! Through it all they were excellent. Explaining issues as they were encountered...explaining a few wise tips to keep the new unit running smoothly in the coming years...cleaning up after their work and being extremely considerate the whole time. I will definitely consider MODERN my first choice in the future for Heating and Air issues with my home. Great price...great service...great people."
