Description: Marc started painting as a teen working part-time. As a college student he worked for a local contractor to pay his college tuition. During these years he continued to paint but also learned carpentry skills. Marc worked 10 years as a Math teacher at the Robinson Middle school in Lowell which allowed him to paint houses during the summer for the same contractor he worked for in college. In 2004 he left teaching and formed MHB Painting. Starting out working alone he has continued to increase his customer base striving for 100% satisfaction with every customer. Work Description: Marc painted a kitchen and dining room with 2 colors, then the remainder of the condo - living room, 2 halls, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms with white, and one ceiling.
Marc was to repair a wall crack and a few other areas, and to fill in all of the wall hanger holes.

Comments: Overall, the majority of the painting was done well, but there are a few things that I was disappointed in. The walls were painted white. Marc uses Muralo paint, but couldn't get the type he usually used, so he used the low volitiles paint, which didin't cover as well and that was noticable in certain places, including the hallwalls. He acknowledged that it didn't look good, but didn't make the effort beforehand to say "this didn't come out to my standards, so I need to do a third coat". I had liked him when I first spoke to him for his opinions and suggestions. I lost confidence at this point. Then there were the smaller things like paint splatter on the wood laminate floor, a paint blob on the darker bottom of the wall in the dining room, an outlet that was painted over ( and needed to be replaced), a poor repair of a wall hanger hole fill-in that is now worse than the initial fix, areas next to a bathroom door and mirror (next to corners) that weren't well painted and paint on the dishwasher, as well as paint on the sink and splatter on the granite counter. I was disappointed about the fixes I had to do. I was really disappointed because we were hoping to find a good painter to do our house when we have it remodeled.

Work Description: Marc and his crew painted our two-story house in four days. They powerwashed it, caulked a few windows, and did a terrific job. The house sparkles and looks like new!

Comments: Marc and crew were extremely professional, polite, and considerate of us. They came when they said they would and respected our need for getting the house ready to sell right away. They cleaned up each day and stacked their ladders/paint out of our way.
We highly recommend them!

Work Description: Removed moldy drywall and replaced it with new, mold resistant drywall. Patched and repainted entire basement. Repainted upstairs hallway and kitchen.

Comments: We hired MHB painting to repaint our kitchen and hall as well as repair and repaint the drywall in our water-damaged basement. We couldn't be happier with the results! Great and dedicated crew.
