Work Description: Exterior stain
Comments: Messer Painting was hired to paint most of our new home. We have large timbers on the outside and we were present when our builder instructed Messer to stain the timbers the same as another home in the neighborhood. The other home has the same wood timbers as ours and is stained a medium brown. Messer stained our timbers BLACK! The worst part was that the owner refused to take any responsibility for this mistake. He refused to give any sort of discount or restitution. I spoke to him personally and he insisted that the stain was the same. BROWN is not the same as BLACK and the stain bucket that we have says ”black.” He claimed that he has receipts proving that the stain was the same. When I asked him to provide those receipts to me, he refused to and claimed that I was harassing him and then hung up on me. If you are thinking about using Messer Painting, I would think twice and consider another business. Thank you for your consideration.Broomfield CO

Comments: Very happy that they were able to start my job right away. Although start times were a little sketchy some days, the work was completed in the # of days estimated. I did do some detail work myself due to make sure it was as I wanted it, but the end result was good and what I was hoping for.
