I agreed to his price and scheduled for following morning,. I had to call several times and the guys showed up at 4:00 but Ignacio did not come and we had a language barrier, had to call several times to get communication on work handled and they weren’t able to complete the job before dark and had to come back 2 days later with additional communication barrier. The work and clean up was good but it took so much of my time and headache to keep involved.

Comments: Workers had difficulty figuring out how to put in a 3x5 foot pad using 12 inch pavers. Also problems raking out the pea stone used in the zeriascape area. It was as if they had never done this kind of work. The owner (boss) left early and did not return until the work had been completed, then to pick up his check. There was no supervision that could see. Communication was very difficult as none of the six young men spoke English and I do not speak Spanish.

Clean all the moss balls and trimmed way up high which left the trees looking beautiful. They cleaned and removed all the cut branches and left our yard very neat. Comments: This company laid the sod in my backyard on 25 May 2019. They did perform the services they said they would. Their sod installation was ok. I have had better. They were on the job at the time they said they would be. The owner needs to work on improving his communication with his customer. I asked him to call me on two occasions and I never received a call. I had to call him. One was to let me know the sod was coming. His workers didn't have an invoice to give me upon completion of the work. The owner said he would get an invoice to me. I called several times to remind him re the invoice and he said he would get one to me. It is now over 4 weeks and still don't have an invoice. Of the bids I received his price was the highest in large part perhaps because the contractor has to pay NetWorx $40.00 for getting the work thru NetWorx. For all the above reasons I gave an overall rating of three.

Work Description: Mr. Martinez was hired to clear out about 1/2 acre of Poison Oak. HE DID NOT, it all came back.

Comments: Mr. Martinez confirmed a time and date, then didn't show. After we called, he rescheduled. Then delayed again. When he got here the work started off good. There was a good game plan for the area near the front of the house. First sign that he did not know how to clear Poison Oak, he tried to burn a pile of it. We repeated told him that the fumes will cause an allergic reaction to anyone in the area effected by the Poison Oak...ME. He argued that we had a burn pile and we had to clarify we were burning trees not Poison Oak. The yard was cleared off all surface plants and he put poison down. However, after the first rain, all the poison oak has returned. After further investigation, it looked as if none of the vine root system was cleared in the back. He did not clear deep enough and the poison he put down did not work. Clearly we will not be utilizing his services again. $1400 mistake that will never happen again to us. Not to mention we still have Poison Oak to deal with. Networx you should not endorse this man for Poison Oak clearing.

Work Description: Everything had to be redone by them. The planters they put in were not level or straight. The wood they put one gate was not cut properly. After they attempted to correct the problem they made one planter about 9 inches smaller than the other planter which was a very noticeable difference. I tore town two of the planters they did and redid them myself.
