Work Description: Exterior paint
Comments: We are fans of Majic Painting & the entire crew! For those who don't trust reviews, I understand because I too can be a skeptic; hence, my 4-star rating (or a 4 1/2 if offered). Every company has room for improvement; however, Majic is very close to 5 stars. This was my honest experience...We did not know anyone from Majic before hiring them. Met Jayson & Andrea at a Portland Home & Garden convention, within a sea of other painters. Not sold yet, I wanted 4 estimates for exterior paint. For me, exterior paint is scarier than interior, because it's the home's first impression, one my family has to live with & one we can't afford to repaint. Made the appointment & Jayson arrived well-prepared. That alone sets the bar high. Jayson asked for a walk-around tour (not all painters did, even ones with the fanciest literature), & I was impressed with his tour-checklist, in which he gave me a copy. His explanations were clear, & most important, he was patient, not at all condescending, answering my many questions. Minutes after the tour presentation, he told me the job's cost. WOW, not only was I impressed with the immediate quote but also with the price. I had other painters to meet, but Majic was the one to beat. And the rest is history - two thumbs-up on the entire process from intro to the final results.
For the 5th star, I suggest to the homeowner to move ALL items away from the area to be painted, as well as removing items off to-be-painted areas. We live daily seeing such objects placed in the same place that we forget what to move...Ex. door bell cover, door knob & door kick plate. Majic did a great job painting around these specifics, but the job would've looked cleaner & crisp placing the items back over the completed paint job. Dave & his crew were super friendly & professional, asking me for simple clarification details while on the job & touching up spots I found after the inspection. So another suggestion is to have a fresh pair of eyes do the walk-around, instead of the painters & homeowner who have seen the paint all day in the shade & sun. Overall, my family, neighbors & myself are happily satisfied with Majic Painting!

Work Description: Majic Painting provided an estimate, color and product consultation as well as prime and paint the exterior of our home.
Comments: I called the office and spoke with Andrea, the office manager, she was very accommodating with my busy schedule even though I had to reschedule myself twice due to my doctor appointments. The estimator and project manager Jayson was very professional and did well to educate me on the different products, techniques and what to watch out for when it comes to care for my exterior. The crew that came: Jesus, Dave and Tony, were prompt, courteous and did not waste any time to get the work started. I spent some time watching how they worked and they were very efficient. The whole project took 3 days with the last day spent on the "punch list" to make sure that every little nook and cranny was to my satisfaction. I will hire Majic Painting again to do my complete interior when winter comes around as Jayson has advised that he can get me better prices then. Overall very very happy with my experience!
