Work Description: Roof
Comments: Ezra and Charles are very friendly and personable. That is, when they want to take your money. What good is a 12-year warranty if you start ignoring your customers at 2 years. I needed my HVAC replaced. Because the HVAC sits on my roof, I decided to redo the roof too. Ezra and Charles came out and were really friendly so I immediately had a good impression of them. Even though it would've been cheaper to go with a roofer and a separate HVAC company, I decided to go with Landmark Construction Crew, aka Landmark Energy Upgrades. I figured it would be a more seamless process for one company to do both. I got this done in December of 2016. The thing with a roof is that you don't know if it's a good job or not until it rains so I waited to write a review. Around January 2018 ( a little over a year later ) we got some much needed rain but unfortunately, I had a leak coming from one of my vents. I emailed Ezra and he sent out a roofer. The roofer came, looked at the vent, jumped up on the roof for ten minutes and said he was done. Months later, it rained again, it leaked again, I emailed Ezra again. I decided to take a closer look at the vent and noticed that there was sunlight in the duct work. I figured, sunlight equals gap somewhere. When the roofer came, I told him and he said it's nothing, probably just a reflection, without even taking a look. Then the roofer tells me that the next time there is a leak, I need to call the HVAC guy because it's not a roof problem. I couldn't believe it so I told him that HIS company IS the HVAC guy!! I used one company to do the roof and the HVAC so there is NOBODY else to blame. So, he jumps back on the roof and was done and gone in 10 minutes. About a month goes by and the rain is back and so is my leak. It's 2019 so it rained a lot this year. Good for California, bad for me. So, I emailed Ezra again. After a few weeks, no reply. So, I email him again with pictures, a few more weeks go by and no reply. So, I call him and he picked up the phone. He sounded surprised to hear from me (probably didn't recognize my phone number) and I start telling him about the leak. He said he didn't get my emails but just text him my address and he'll send somebody. A couple of weeks goes by and nothing. So, I text him again and after weeks and weeks of waiting, no reply. I've emailed, called, and texted so, at this point, it's very obvious he's avoiding me. If you are looking for a friendly company that is willing to take your hard-earned cash then Landmark is for you. But if you're looking for a company that is accountable for their work then look elsewhere. I know I am.Woodland Hills CA

Work Description: We hired Landmark to remodel our bathroom and master bedroom.
Comments: Landmark Construction Crew and his skilled team did a wonderful job at our house by remodeling our master bedroom and master bathroom. It all started with our vision in mind on how we would like to have our master bedroom and bathroom and Landmark Construction Crew made it to a reality! The entire remodeling process was very well planned (which we know that the planning stage was a huge factor in the overall work) and the communication they had with us all the time was beyond outstanding. At the beginning of each step of the work, we knew the current costs of the work and we knew very well what the next step. We know that all remodeling projects can have problems and issues -- but Landmark Construction Crew made the outcome of the remodeling… well worth the effort. Work Description: Ezra from Landmark construction crew did a fairly extensive remodeling of our house. The work that he did included the addition of a powder room, teared down several built-in cabinets, installed 2 new built-in bookcases in the living room, removed the separation wall between the kitchen and living room, installing brand new HVAC system, installed low voltage recessed lighting replaced the existing carpet with new wood floors in most of the house and several other changes. During the years, we moved several times and we did remodeled each one of the houses we lived in which allow us to write here that this remodeling was the easiest and best experience so far. Ezra was very detailed in his estimate and during the work itself, he kept informed us about any issue that came up AND did all he could to make the price within the original budget. He knew what he’s doing and his crew did wonderful work and they were receptive to our needs. During the remodeling, we asked them to do additional small tasks and they did them without any hesitation, even though they were small. Their plumber and electrician were very nice people too and they were able to do a wonderful things in their own trades. Last thing, we felt that the costs were very reasonable relative to the work that was involved. We will definitely use Landmark construction crew again.

Work Description: Kitchen and master bathroom remodeling
Comments: We just finished remodel our master bathroom and the guest bathroom including the kitchen. We used Landmark construction crew for that remodeling and it was extremely convenient to work with them and to be guided by Ezra to buy everything that we needed to this work via several of their vendors. I worked with Ezra and he was a great guy to work with and he helped us a lot. We explained to him what we had in mind and he sat down with us for few hours patiently going thru all items and figure out any way to implement them in the remodeling. We do highly recommend to schedule an appointment with Ezra instead of just talking over the phone about what you want to have. As far as for prices, Ezra was able to give us a great discount from his vendors for all the hardware that we need for that remodeling - which was absolutely a huge plus. Ezra was also took care of all the delivery of everything (this was not something that we expected to get as well). Landmark construction crew staff were also great people to talk to. There were several times that we called to ask about the billing and the lady from the office answered us with a great respect and she was professional too. The master bathrooms included the new shower with 6 jets and a bath tub, new floor, Paint, Vanity, and makeup spot. The work for the bathroom was fast and Ezra and his guys worked on it on a daily basis making sure it will be done fast. While they worked on the bathroom, Ezra start to work on the kitchen and after the demolition of the old one, He start to bring a lot of workers that each one did something else. We had no issues or problems with any of the people during the work. Ezra even came to visit 2 weeks after to check and make sure that there is no problem with anything that they remodeled.Alpine CA

Comments: My logic of a successful remodeling project should be counted by two main things of experience and the actual work. I wanted to share here my opinion about my recent experience with Landmark construction crew because after they finished my new kitchen & bath remodeling, I understand what a great service looks like. Before starting with my remodeling project, I did a big research on them and I looked and read their reviews and photos of their previous jobs and I was very pleased with all of that. Ezra and I met and came up with a design that included some of my ideas and some of his ideas and I just loved it and I approved it. The kitchen was mainly based on custom cabinets. Landmark construction crew’s cabinet maker came by and took measurements of the entire space. The work started with the installation of the cabinets, plumbing, flooring, lighting and appliances. Ezra made sure that the workers will complete their own daily tasks so the project will not get any delays. The bathroom was remodeled at the same time and there was no problem during the work. Ezra supervised and made sure that all the materials will be delivered on time. He was very easy person to get along with and he was very skilled. I liked the fact that he was in my house each day. The estimate that I got was comparable to the other contractors that I thought to hire. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their home remodeled.Panorama City CA

Work Description: Kitchen and bathrooms remodeling
Comments: Landmark construction crew did a wonderful job with our new kitchen and bathrooms. We met with Ezra and his assistance who was friendly, professional and full of patience. He provided us with everything we needed to know and he explained to us about several things that we wanted to do and the reasons why they can’t be done. Our impression was that he doesn’t try to push the sale other than to make sure that he know what we want and that he can deliver while staying within our budget. The workers were supervised by Ezra and they were not only experienced and knew what they are doing, but always respectful. Everyone that worked at the house made us feel happy for each step and stage of the work. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, from the moment Ezra walked into the house until the final day of the work, it really was great! We highly recommend Landmark construction crew, they will not disappoint!-
