We work closely with our clients to show the possibilities inherent in every project. From the first pencil sketch, each design grows organically from client needs and lifestyles. At Lake City Custom Homes, we believe that our job as a General Contractor is not only to build your home, office, or other project, but also to manage your money. To Lake City, the process of building a project does not consist of hiring sub-contractors and suppliers and then simply spending your money for their services. We believe in managing your money so that you get the highest quality building for the very best price - so that your asset achieves its greatest potential value.

Because cost is not the only factor in building a custom home, Lake City uses the following areas of emphasis to ensure our customer's total satisfaction upon completion of their custom home.

Quality - We use the finest tradesman, and the best quality materials in our homes. We insist that all work is done to the highest standard possible. We can provide references that attest to our craftsmanship, work ethic, integrity, and our ability to work with people.

Cost - Among other things, we require at least three estimates for every trade prior to sub-contracting the work. And, we insist on signed change orders approved by the home owner before paying for anything above the contracted price. Our relationships and accounts will ensure the best prices in labor and material.

Schedule - A tight schedule can save you thousands of dollars in interest over the course of constructing your home. We built our 6700 square foot Parade House for the 2008 Parade of Homes in less than 90 days, which was featured in Real Estate Executive Magazine for their '08 parade article. While we don't feel that a home owner should build their dream home so quickly, we do have the ability to build your home at a very fast pace while maintaining a very high standard.

Management - We provide on-site management, daily incident reports, and regular periodic owner walk-through's. We also demand detailed sub-contracts with lien releases for all sub-contracted labor and/or material in order to ensure quality, fix price, and protect against unwarranted liens and/or law suits.

Our greatest goal is make sure our clients are happy with not only their home as a finished project, but also the process of building it. As owners, we are always available to answer any questions you may have about the construction of your building.
