Comments: Yes contractor showed up and got to work quickly it also seems like he is knowledgeable. The problem is 3 projects have yet to be completed to date and money has been paid out. We started in Jul and there have been lots of reasons (sick, family sick, workers sick, lost phone etc.) why work cannot be completed. My thoughts are things/life happens but where are the backup workers or my residual refund especially after all this time from work quoted for week completion. We are trying to get a hold of guy but no luck so far. I'm am more disappointed and feel played then anything at this point.Fort Worth TX

He is very personable, pricing is reasonable, and he takes the time to explain the projects. We are getting house painting in/out, caulking/sealing, few kitchen projects, fixing and staining deck, window install. Comments: L & M Design, owned and operated by Mark Henricks, offers valued expertise at a reasonable price with flawless results.As an example of Mark's capabilities, we had a serious plumbing issue with a tankless water system. Water was cold more that it was hot. No one called could diagnose and fix the system. Finally, we found Mark. Mark solved and fixed the problem with little time spent and at very little cost.
Mark is now our "go-to" for multiple household issues. I am very proud to write this review.

Comments: We hired L&M Design to install an in ground basketball goal at our home. Mark reached out to me within 5 minutes of my online request and showed up to look at the job within the hour (on a Sunday afternoon). As we were discussing the basketball goal, I spoke to him about another small roof drainage issue and hired them to fix this issue as well. I can't say enough great things!! Top notch communication, workmanship, timely as promised, clean, fair pricing etc... I WILL hire L&M for future needs and would recommend them to any of my family or friends. Work Description: Replaced 400 feet of fence – that’s 47 sections plus a gate.
Comments: Mark did an excellent job on the fence – and I have a lot of fence. I’m glad I selected him. I went with 5.5”cedar pickets and he had the best price of three quotes. He used all screws (good screws) and good wood. He tore down the old fence and hauled off all the old materials. Mark made sure everything was perfect. If it didn’t look right he removed and fixed it. The top of my fence is very straight and follows the ground perfectly. His crew was hard working and followed his instructions well. I’m an engineer and like to offer input to work I get done. I liked how Mark listened to my ideas and we came to good decisions on best path forward. Work Description: Installed chain link fence in the majority of the front yard and wood fence with steel posts on the side of the house connecting to the neighbors fence.
Comments: All of the work was performed excellently. I've had several neighbors comment on how great the fence looks. Mark is a perfectionist, almost OCD. He pulled and reinstalled 4 posts that must have moved overnight. In the post holes of corner posts, gate support posts and the wood fence posts he was sure to use a full 80 lb bag of concrete to be sure they would remain solid. Mark is punctual and a very honest and nice guy. He was helpful with suggestions and last but not least very fair on the price. All of the other quotes were not only $1500 more, the other companies also took their time getting them to me. Mark got started immediately and I'm proud of finished product. He's extremely professional, he showed up, began and completed work on time! He beat other estimates that I'd received, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. Work Description: Hired Mark to repair a leaky shower and install tile tub surround in two bathrooms. He never arrived on time. He left my bathroom in total disarray. The tile was cut improperly and did not match up or meet properly in the corners. He used tissue paper as spacers. He got mastic (adhesive) all in the tube. He'd show up work a few hours and then use some excuse to leave. " Oh I found mold so I have to go back to the office and get a special chemical to treat this." Any excuse to leave. The day he was to finish, I had to leave. He said oh yes I will finish this bath today and start on the next. I paid him to fish and half to start on the next bath. I get home a few hours later and no Mark. My son said , he left soon after you. He stole my money and left me with a wreck of a bathroom. I hired an excellent contractor who totally gutted the mess he left and did and excellent job. Mark would not return my calls so I texted (this is now 3 weeks later) and asked for a refund. He responded with I was in the hospital and I will refund your money. When I text back asking when, I got no response. I have all of my proof, pictures etc. I am not letting this go and will sue. You do not con, steal and treat people simply trying to hire out work needed in this manner. The public please beware of this con.

Work Description: Mark with L&M Design re-boarded my property after being vandalized. Since I was out of town on a family emergency and Fort Worth Code Compliance had mailed a notice with 10 day response time, I needed immediate response. Mark did some extra trimming of shrubs as well. We were able to handle the entire matter by phone and photos were sent to me as proof of completion. Payment was done electronically.
Comments: Very pleased with Mark's work, timeliness, reasonable pricing, and dependability during the Easter weekend.-
