My name is Ken Price. I own and operate Ken's Home Improvements. In 2001, I started installing windows and doors for a local company. I soon realized I didn't agree ethically with the business practices I saw: high pressure sales, misleading advertising, overpriced products, shoddy installations, and poor customer service. Almost daily, I thought about how I would do things differently. I worked 3 years full time for 2 companies and another 2 years part time for a 3rd, and part time for myself. In 2006, Ken's Home Improvements became an official entity.

Here is my approach to doing business. My goal is to provide service with integrity. Maybe that can be defined by the Golden Rule. I want to treat you as a customer, the way I would like to be treated.

First, I don't want to be a window salesman. I want to be your window consultant. Because I don't represent a specific company, I will not pressure you to buy "my product." Being familiar with most major brands of wood and vinyl windows, I can help you choose the products and price points that best suit your needs and budget.

I don't want to use sales gimmicks to get into your home. I think the best form of advertising is a job well done. I've provided comments from several previous customers. If you would like to see projects I've done, most of the people I've worked for would be glad to show you my work.

I don't inflate prices to give you artificial discounts. And I don't give low prices with hidden charges. I try to price all projects fairly, both for you and for me. My objective is to do the best job possible, and price my work to be a good value for that you get.

I do home improvements for a living, but I also enjoy the work. Some of my favorite jobs have been older homes or homes with unique architectural details. It is gratifying to being able to install new windows or doors that look like they could have been original. Unlike someone who works only for a paycheck, I get personal satisfaction from a job well done.

Because I actually do most of the work myself, you can see me every day on the job. Any questions or concerns can be handled personally and promptly. At the end of the day, I want you to be glad you chose me.

To me, jobs are about more than work. They are also about building relationships. Home improvements should be partnerships, with both of us involved in realizing the vision you have for your home. My goal in that relationship is to function ethically in every aspect of every job I do, to provide you service with integrity.
