Comments: John Michaels Contracting worked on an improvement project in our home on Staten Island.We had a short timeline due to a delayed home purchase closing. We needed an interior wall/closet built in the basement along with wainscoting wood paneling remodeling on our first floor living room and kitchen.
John and his team did beautiful carpentry work.
They were professional, punctual, clean and fairly priced meeting our timeline and budget.

Comments: We did a full renovation Consisting of a new kitchen, bathroom and upgraded doors and moldings throughout the home. It was important that the work was done in a neat and organized manner Due to the fact that we were living in the home during the renovation. John and his workers took extra care daily to prepare and complete Their daily tasks even if it meant staying late some days to do so. All the work came out even more beautiful than expected. His workers showed up on time every day and after a little over six weeks they turned my dark basement into a great space by for our family. Comments: My wife and I interviewed a number of contractors before deciding to go ahead with John Michael. We had worked with other contractors in the past and things didn’t always work out as planned so it was important we get it right this time. John and his crew treated our home with great care and were very professional from day1 and throughout the entire project. In a little over three months they were able to complete a brand new kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom remodel plus a “Jack and Jill” style bathroom for our two children. They also installed a number of new windows and a new front entry door to our home. John Suggested we add some crown molding and other decorative trim throughout the first floor of our home. I’m glad we listened to him because it turned out better then we expected. We are planning to do our basement over in the fall and I will not hesitate to bring John and his workers back to work on that project.

Work Description: Large Remodel including flooring, stairs, kitchen and bathroom
Comments: I met with John and 2 other contractors to discuss my project. John showed up early on a Sunday which suprised me. We spent quite a bit of time going over the work. We met 2 more times to discuss pricing, products and scheduling. By the end of our third meeting I had decided to give him the job. I am so happy I did. His workers were polite and were clean and neat throughout the duration of the job. They were here every day for about 9 weeks. Richie who was the lead carpenter was just great when it came to adressing any questions i had if John wasn't here. The entir project turned out beautifully but I LOVE my new kitchen most of all. We've already started talking about the outside of my home and I plan to have him back in the spring for another project I am planning.

Comments: He was just wonderful, great work ethics, his perceptiveness and precision in doing the job right and solving any problems that arises is superb. I liked his work so much that I plan for him to do more for me.
