Work Description: One package unit and one split system replaced. Plus, new duct work on the first floor and three new returns installed.
Comments: At first Phil from Energy Sharks contacted me, I was quite hesitant to meet with him. To explain, our family had been using another HVAC company for many years and had really wanted to give the job to them. However, something seemed off and I decided to give Phil an opportunity to tell me more about his company and to assess our current HVAC systems. Phil has an engineering background and was able to explain and verify information from a scientific standpoint. He was very honest with his HVAC analysis of our systems and was able to explain things with numbers. My husband also has an engineering background and was able to understand everything that Phil was explaining from a logical perspective. The pricing provided was very fair. The crew arrived as scheduled. They worked extremely well together, and the team leader, Danny was very knowledgeable and hands-on. The house and yard were left completely clean. Additionally, since one of the units was located upstairs, whenever they entered the house all the crew members removed their shoes so as not to track in dirt. Work Description: Replace Heat Pump,Installed 2 Returns and Added 7inches of insulation to the attic.
Comments: Phil came over to give me an estimtate.He was very thorough in observing my entire situation.After measuring the amount of return air flow he determined that the 3.5 ton Pump he was going to replace was only getting enough return air to suplly a 2 ton unit.He reccomented adding 2 returns,adding inulation to the attic and replacing the 3.5 ton with a 4 ton,15 seer which was recommended for the size of my house.All of this at a lower price than the other quotes I received.His crew was professional and diligent. I was thoroughly impressed.
