Comments: They responded to my initial request (by phone on a Sunday) withing 15 minutes of my internet inquiry. The next day they came to my home and assessed my project (repairs to my bi-fold closed doors). The original closet hardware broke and after several weeks of trying I was unable to find replacement parts. Alfonso Ciampa took the old broken fixtures back to his shop and custom made a replacement part which saved me considerable time and money. I highly recommend this company for any home improvement project you may have. Dealing with this company is the closest thing to having a relative in the business. Excellent customer service.

Comments: Mr Ciampa runs a family owned business which has the benefit of adding a personal touch to their professional services. I contracted them to do floor refinishing but learned their expertise extended to painting and other home improvements which I took advantage of. Their range of experience allow them to make suggestions you may have overlooked. They are timely, efficient, artistic, reasonably priced and are highly recommended for small jobs as well as large.

With limited time his crew managed to complete an extensive project within a couple of days. This family business is professional, courteous and fair. Comments: They did an outstanding job for us. They were punctual, and professional, letting us know in advance of necessary scheduling changes and working to accommodate our schedule. They were obviously very experienced and able to offer several different ways of dealing with the situations they faced on our projects from working around original features we wanted to preserve to complete replacement. Work Description: Apartment remodel.
Comments: After purchasing an apartment in a very old building, we needed a good amount of work done to the place. We wanted to put up drywall to go over the old walls, and put up new door frames and doors as well. Once the work was started, we were informed by the management company that drywall isn't allowed, so they quickly switched gears and covered the walls in plaster - it looks just as good if not better! The new door and window moldings are excellent, and they also did the hardwood floors, which look perfect. The apartment now looks brand new. They were trustworthy and honest - which is really important when you have a lot of work being done!

Comments: We had decided to make some major renovations in our kitchen and family room. After four contractors told us our dream kitchen was not possible, a friend told us to call Antonio. Antonio, the owner, came immediately, crawled into the attic, came out covered in dust and told us it was possible. He came back with his engineer and developed a plan within a week. He started when he said he would and completed all work on time.We went out of town for two weeks during the renovations. We left the entire house in his hands, (including the fish). When we came back everything was clean and the kitchen was beautiful. We were so happy with the work, we had him do more. Antonio was always available to us and very reliable during the renovation process.

Comments: Alfonso wants all of his customers to be completely satisfied. Well, we're not. We're more than completely satisfied with Alfonso - we're very happy that we chose him to build our new home!We probably got off on what would have been a bad start with someone else. We contacted Alfonso about two years before we were ready to build. When we finally had our new house plans drawn up and ready to go, we were shocked to learn that Andy didn't want to build those plans on our property. The property had been cleared and some of the fill for the foundation brought in. What could be wrong? That's when we learned just how much we could trust Alfonso with our new home. He didn't want to build those plans on our property because he suspected that we might have foundation problems several years down the road, and he didn't want that for one of his customers.
Alfonso didn't just walk away and tell us to call him when we had another piece of property to build on, he helped us find a realtor to negotiate for us, pointing us to a lot that he himself had been thinking about buying. We looked around and tried to find another lot we liked better, but Alfonso was right from the beginning. The day after we had closed on the new property, Alfonso arranged for the clearing to begin, doing his best to get us back "on schedule" with our plans.
Every step of the way Alfonso was in contact with us, usually initiating the contact, but always returning our calls, normally within an hour (sometime less). He understood our budget constraints and offered ideas for saving money and time whenever possible... checking with us before every significant expense to make sure we had not changed our minds. Whenever we did change our minds about something, it was never a problem, but simply a discussion about options and making it all work together.
We met most of his subcontractors during the process. It was a pleasure to meet with them and we were always left with the impression that they really did care about doing their part to build our new home, to get it right the first time, and to correct anything that might need changing.
Alfonso and his subcontractors keep their promises. Everything we've noticed that wasn't quite right after we'd moved in to our new home has been corrected, and usually fairly soon after it's been brought to their attention. No hassling about it.
Would we have Alfonso build another home for us? Absolutely. But we're planning to stay in our current home for a long time!
