Work Description: Minor painting, handyman stuff
Comments: HL Construction is awful. The gentleman overcharged us and billed us for paint without displaying a receipt. To make matters worse, he took the leftover paint and never returned it.The crew did not complete the job and the head guy, Hernan promised he would return the next day. Three days later he has not returned my call or showed up. To make matters worse, he was fully aware that we were about to move out.
I believe HL Construction to be dishonest and would never recommend hiring this outfit.

Comments: OMG, This person Hernan did the same with me, give me estimate $1800. come to work only two hours and demand 50%. Thanks GOD I gave him only $600 and he never showed up. They ripped my backyard and it looks ugly. They are just looting innocent people money.After posting his review he finally called me and said he will pay me $300 but this guy is not professional and again never showed up. I advised everyone DO NOT USE this person.

Comments: On 10/2 I met with Hernan at my home and he gave me an estimate of $1200 for a custom bookshelf job. I showed him pictures, he said no problem. He said it would take 2 days, and I gave him a $600 deposit. It is now 10/26 and after sending his guys (who had no idea of the plans I had gone over with Hernan) one day, doing a VERY minimal amount of work, and promising to return on 6+ occasions- HE IS NO LONGER ANSWERING MY CALLS AND HAS DISAPPEARED WITH MY MONEY. I took many days off work when he said they would return, and he never even called to say they weren't showing up. THIS MAN IS A CRIMINAL AND HAS STOLEN MY MONEYNew Rochelle NY

Work Description: I needed a stained glass piece hung and a new doorbell, the work was swift and reasonable charges, the were neat and cleaned up after the work-the door bell needed an adjustment and did not need to be replaced, I would recommend them and use them again

Work Description: OK, Supervisor Hernan was easy to communicate with. He installed a exterior door, in turn repaired the interior of my shed. The work was done to my satisfaction that I have them at this time repairing various jobs in my tenant's apt. downstairs. I would use them again and recommend them to others.
Comments: I am using them again and will recommend them to friends and others. I am very skeptical but they are good at their work.-
