Work Description: Shower Tiling Project
Comments: At first, this tile man "Rick" seemed cool and top notch, but then, over time, too many issues came up and ended in a most unprofessional manner. He put one piece of wall tile upside down and then his general contractor attempted to replace it and did some shoddy work. The second issue didn't show up until we could finally use the shower (delayed because the contractor refused to install the shower door). Upon first usages, the shower floor absorbed so much water that it remained wet for over 24 hours with each use (we asked for another application of sealant). Now, it is apparent that the tile man did not slope the floor properly and we now see that a huge puddle sits on the floor for the 24 hours that it takes to dry. We called the tile man and asked that he come look at it; his reply was, "Why are you harassing me?" NOW WE'RE LOOKING TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WHO MIGHT HAVE TO TEAR OUT THE FLOOR TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. BE CAREFUL, NICE DOESN'T MEAN COMPETENT.Shelton WA
