Description: Hi, my name is Calvin Paulsen, owner and operator of Harbor Renovation LLC. I have been in the construction industry most all my life, starting at the age of 13 in El Cajon California well over 35 years ago, just 30 miles east of San Diego. I started working for a nearby neighbor who was building a very custom home in the sage brush hills commonly seen in that region. So like many young construction enthusiast I started working in the dirt and throughout the years I progressed through just about every trade in the business.

I have been a general contractor for most of my career building many homes from small to large as well as completing many remodel and renovation projects. At one time, I owned and operated the largest finish carpentry and stair installation business in the Willamette Valley located in Salem Oregon for about ten years. I believe it would be safe to say that I have extensive experience in all aspects of the construction process.


I am a very hands on contractor and very attentive in every aspect of the projects we complete. Everything is checked and inspected to be sure you receive the highest quality of both workmanship and materials.

My commitment to quality is always my main focus. I want my customers to be happy not only with the professional job we do, but how we accomplish the project as well.
