Work Description: Garage Door Repair
Comments: Ihired Mr. Horbb on 8/9/21 for the repairing of my garage door. On 8/10 i received a text with an estimate and timeframe. I received another text later that day and said that he had to pick up the strip. Oh he removed the strip I had on the garage door before he even checked to see if he could find the right one. 8/11 I sent him a text to let him know that because he had taken the strip off the door water was coming under my door. He did not return om 8/10 and came back out on 8/11 and stated he had the wrong part and had to go get another part. He did not return. on 8/12 he texts me and say that he can't find the part because of the model garage door I have. Said he found the part on Amazon and that the part will be here on Saturday 8/14. Clearly he knew then that it was on back order until 10/9 or the 10, but lied and told me h will have it on Saturday. I text him late on 8/13 and asked if he would be here on Saturday to finish up. He then calls me back to tell me Amazon called him about the order will be delivered on 10/9-10. Amazon do not call about any orders you place with them. It was already on the text he sent me when he first placed the order. On 8/14 I had not heard from him at 11:12 so I advised him that i now longer needed his services. He then sends me a message about i owe him a 100.00 for the order he placed and his services..there was no services provided just removing my strip from my garage door and now having to call someone else in to fix what he did not. He then text me and tell me i need to pay for the item which he can cancel via online just like he placed it. He did not provide any services. He just removed the strip from my door nothing was done. He did not communicate what he was doing and if i did not text him, he would not give me any updates on anything

Comments: If this is the person I got to replace my mailbox, I would not use him or recommend him for anything. He did a terrible job, which I paid him $195. I am now going to have to buy another mailbox and find someone who understands how to install a mailbox in brick.
